There are very few anime of that type which I love the most: dark, psychological, complicated, depressive, exploring human soul and cognitive dissonance of personality - and Serial Experiments Lain is one of them. Boa performed the opening with the song Duvet and it's drum parts turned out to be a real pleasure to play.
