Sasha Pieterse’s character Alison DiLaurentis and Janel Parrish’s Mona Vanderwaal are back in action on “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.” They visited “Extra” and teased the twists and turns to come! Could we see appearances from any original “Pretty Little Liars” characters, like Mary Drake or Alex Drake (aka A.D.)? Plus, they dished on working with new castmates Sofia Carson, Sydney Park and Eli Brown.

"The Perfectionists" would have been a lot more fun if Ali and Mona had ever had a drunken night trying to explain their backstory to the students. I would 100% watch that show. Ali: "Oh, you're stressed out about finals and this girl/boy you like? Yeah, I was buried alive by my own mother, because she was trying to protect my sister that she thought had killed me. So I let everyone think I was really dead and went into hiding for a year or two. Oh, I also did a bit of prison time for murder, BTW..." Really, who did you murder? Mona: "Oh, that would be me. But, I wasn't actually dead, because Ali's sister also kidnapped me and locked me in an underground bunker for a while and made me pretend to be Ali... yeah, good times..." Lol
In season 2, Alex and Mary should escape but they go to rosewood and they kidnap Alison’s kids, Alison, Mona, Ava, Caitlyn and Dylan (at first it was going to be Alison and Mona, but Ava convinced them to take them with them) go to rosewood and try to save them. Also during rosewood they meet up with Aria, Emily (which will be aka ward) Hannah, Spencer, Caleb, Ezra, Toby and their kids.

Yeah I thought about that and honestly, it would have been gold. This new layer of Alison falling in love with Mona finally being her true self would have been really plausible

That's understandable, but I hope you are still watching so that the show can still have the future that it deserves (and that it most likely plans to spend in part by reuniting Emison).
