Thanks for the video Evie, I discovered your channel while surfing ATAR Reactions and it's so underrated! I'm entering Year 11 right after the holidays and I wanted to suggest if you could make a video on how to approach studying effectively and managing time or how to use weekends and holidays to get ahead. Thanks!
Thank you so much, that’s too kind!❤️ I’m so glad my videos are helpful for you, and all the best of luck for Year 11 and 12! Thank you so much for those suggestions, they sound amazing and I will definitely keep them in mind 😊 I’ve currently got a time management video already posted, and I might make one on how to study effectively + getting ahead on weekends/holidays!
@@evie.roseeeThanks for the wishes! I'll give my all in senior year as I have a similar ATAR goal of around ~98 to try get into med school. I'll definitely be looking forward to your videos, but no pressure, and good luck to your channel!
Hey Evie, I really love your videos! Would it be possible for you to make a video on how to ace and study for Biology, going through each module in detail? Also, I’m doing Community and Family studies, English and Maths at standard level, and I struggle a lot with English. Any tips or advice you could share to help would be really appreciated. Thanks!
Also, would it be possible for you to post a video about what you're planning to study, the course you’re aiming for, which university you're looking at, and any related goals like the GMAT or UCAT? Would love to hear your thoughts and plans! ❤
Hi Sara! Thank you so much for your kind comments, I’m so glad to hear that I could help you out! ❤️ I’m planning on making a Biology video next so stay tuned for that! And thank you for that suggestion on tips for each module, I’ll be sure to include some of that too! As for English, I found that my hardest subject too and you’re not alone! A tip that I have would be to make sure that you’re making notes on your prescribed texts about context, themes and quotes to use in essays! I would also strongly suggest looking at exemplar/A-range essays (you can find these on ATAR notes or Ace HSC) to get an idea of what a high-range response would look like! Also feedback is EVERYTHING and don’t be afraid to write draft essays (even if they aren’t the best!) and submit them to your teachers for feedback so that you can brush up your writing style before exams😊 In terms of future studies, I’m starting a Bachelor of Pre-Medicine, Science and Health at the University of Wollongong in March! I don’t currently plan on sitting the UCAT, as I want to complete my undergraduate degree and then sit the GAMSAT after that so I have time to gain work experience and learn some more! However my plans may change, I will have to see! Thank you so much again for sticking around and let me know if you have any other questions 🫶🫶
Thank you so much! I’m currently planning to make one for Biology, and I can make one for PDHPE too! As for English Adv, I found that subject really challenging and don’t feel the most qualified to make a video on it haha - but maybe I will later down the line 😊 Thank you so much for requesting! Stay tuned 🤞
@@evie.roseee Thanks, will be waiting hopefully for the bio and pdh ones, 100% agree english is so difficult and i really dont understand how to get better at it. Im just starting year 11, do you have any tips or anything for any of the subjects im doing lol 😅, ext 1 math, adv english, chem, bio, pdh, business. Anything would be really appreciated, also good luck on growing your channel, the vids are rlly good so far. 😁
Aww thank you, you are too kind! The Bio video should be out sometime next week😊 and all the best of luck with Year 11 and 12!! My top tip would be to stay organised and on top of everything every day! If you manage to get your homework done every afternoon and your summary notes done every weekend, you should be staying up to date and won’t be falling behind! I know it may seem daunting at the start, but I promise it gets easier as time goes on! You got this💓
