Most of pages are way too busy, not enough mystical elements in my opinion. Thanks for the flip through. I don’t think I’ll purchase it. There were some really great pages just not enough.
yeah not sure about this one, yet...so thanks for the flip-through :) That's exacty the reason I watch flips to see if I like a coloring book. Well for hanna karlzon's earlier books I just bought the compilation book "grains of gold". Maybe "Mythographic - Dragonspell", which releases next year will be more up to my taste :)
I’m a Mythographic fan but I’m not really sure about this one. Like you it’s not my idea of apothecary at all. Some of the pictures are just plain weird and others are similar images to other books. Have subbed. Just to say you have beautiful hands…🥰
Its not my style at all do i will not be getting it. However i think your confused over the apothecary meaning. Its more about doctors and healing. So you have the twin snakes page a take on the Caduceus. The scales with the herbs on them to measure out for tictures etc
I'm guessing the magic element comes in with the tea page, maybe like tea leaf readings. Plenty of pentagrams, and how superstition would say to take certain tinctures at certain moon cycles etc. so I can see why the elements are what they are. I just think your thoughts about apothecary meaning witches isn't the take they were going for- which is more a natural healing and tinctures theme, ( though certainly go far back in the past and most females in practice were called and killed for being witches)
