While this story may be fiction, I seriously doubt if this would even happen because upon finding the victim to be a judge or Chief of Police, he would've been charged with assault under the law upon an officer of the court or law.. Lost his pension, job and sent to prison. I don't know what defense his attorney would ever be able to come up with.
