Is your battery still going strong? so, another words, if you put in a battery... you do not have to reset the computer? just drive and it'll go back to 100%?

Battery is still going strong at 100%. No reset was required but from my understanding the reason they want to code in a new battery is too avoid the alternator over compensating.

Where can I buy Q5 Oem battery

I usually get quotes from Audi dealerships near you. They do vary in price depending on the dealer.
There are some shops that sell refurbished ones, I'd stay away from those as they can be a hit or miss

Did the battery die yet? The issue supposedly isn't the difference in capacity of the new battery, but rather the ECU settings for voltage output of the alternator. For the old battery, the alternator compensates by upping the voltage output to squeeze out performance from a shit battery. However you put a new battery in and that alternator is still over compensating. Apparently this can wear the new battery out in 3 months according to an Audi tech.
So I'm curious if this was your experience or not

I was very skeptical as well before trying this. Happy to inform you that after 9 months it is still holding juice at 100% and the car has done a trip from west of Canada to the east with no starting issues. I can give you more info if you have any questions.
