You missed mentioning that the broom you can get from October trading post is insta-cast during this holiday. The time it saves adds up.
If you sit before you loot the bucket you avoid the debuff that keeps you from mounting.
I leveled like 8 new 70s without the 10% from this event. Fffffffffffffffffff >_> why didnt i watch this video earlier lol

in between runs between continents, be sure to refresh your Master of Timeways and Wickerman buffs at SW/Undercity, just to make sure that you dont lose the buff while searching for those buckets.
Or you can use TomCat's Tour add-on and it opens the bucket stuff on its own no more addons needed and it also wshows all the buckets while the event is active.
TomCat's will also show a very noticeable pumpkin icon where the candy bucket is located as well! 👍

61 to 64.5 in 3 hours is honestly much faster than I got there doing the Dragonflight story. 51-61 with just candy buckets and 10% boost is crazy. I may try this before Halloween ends this year.

The mount appearance and the pet drop rate feel worse then the Horsemens Mount, that feels wrong on SO MANY LEVELS =(

So this is pretty good if you want to get Tricky Treats for the rewards as it lets you maximise the EXP from them ... but it's still worse than Timewalking dungeon spamming for strictly levelling. I wouldn't recommend this for levelling, but at least that's mentioned at the end.
I use the WoW-Pro Guide addon to have an in-game check-list of candy buckets and have them ordered in an optimal route. It also has other useful guides too. Edit: also the Routes addon is very helpful for planning the optimal route.

An even better idea is to macro opening the candy into your mount keybind.
If you use Tomcat Tours, it opens the handful of candy automatically.
Ahh, I came here to see if anyone had mentioned it! I didn't know which addon it was, but my candy-bucket quest was auto-completing and opening the treat bag...how beautiful

Pretty sure my wicker man buff was 20% increase for 2 hours (could be wrong) but when I would go into a timewalker my buff fell off. (No I didn’t die) just was a bummer

You can also get the Unburden ( alliance) / Grim Face (horde) buff by clicking an ash pile in front of the Burning Man in your level 3 garrison.
If you sit down while opening a candy bucket you can not be tricked.
Not a fast way to level, but a fine way to fill the time between TWing queues while leveling!

Cannot stack Draught (< level 50) with Timewalking (> level 60)
timewalking works from lvl45 this time, dunno why

If you had the old Handy Notes Hallows End from previous years, it might no longer work. You might have to install the new updated to 10.1.7 one by a different creator. It also automatically opens treat bags when you collect them from Candy Buckets.
the old one still works, just doesnt have the new buckets.

@@knighthawk3749 you cant have the new one and the old one installed, they don't like each other, im using the older one now. Id recommend uninstalling both completely and reinstalling the old one, that worked for me.
FYI, the XP buff is ONLY for kills.
It's for kills AND quests! Luckily it confirms right in the tooltip. :D
@@KrakenLatte I had to double check to make sure the info i had was right(wowhead) and according to the spell page for the buff Unburdened(Alliance) and Grim Visage(Horde),

So i then logged in to verify that was accurate, and there was no 10% xp to any quest reward.:O(

Each bucket is a one-time per-character

One time per toon per year (it'll reset 2024 Hallow's End).
So its just 10% from hallows end not 60% abit clickbaity dont ya think
