Somehow I went down the old remember this rabbit hole. I remember watching these back in the day never knowing these guys would become such a success with their race program and entertainment program. Kudos to all of you and your behind the scenes help including the sponsors. It's been great to follow you through the years and know your all the same people you were in the beginning. Keep on movin on!!
Hearing Joseph getting out of the car fired up about how bad the car was after hot laps brings back memories from years ago. Enjoy watching your Dad calmly take it all in and be there to help make changes. I enjoy your videos. Look out for Hollis Farms at Whynot this weekend.
You guys are such inspiration to grass roots racing. Love to see you guys up here in northern Illinois. Although our best track is closed. Keep the videos coming
Very good job....love the channel guys!!!my brother put me onto it... was waiting today Australia time for the bounty race.. I sat down at lunch at work an watched it. Good race with 72 car... 3 car yep had that track dialed in an setup good. You guys show massive respect for other drivers. An love how you guys involve ya family Good luck next race all the way from Australia I’m hooked on ya channel (from a fellow speedway quad racer ) all the best .
Been watching a few videos of ya'll the last few months. FIRST OF ALL... Love the "Jesus Lives" on the back of the cars! YES HE DOES...Amen! Second.. love the family interaction whether it's working on the cars or going racing together... That's what it's all about!! Ya'll seem like a great group of guys who are stand up people on and off the track. Also showing true sportsmanship at the track... I applaud the both of you for being a true lover of the sport and a positive role model and supporters as drivers, crew, and fans! I have been involved in dirt track racing since I can remember... Now working on becoming a driver after years of moto-x and Karts. Tell me driver.... How do I get one of those.." Hunt for the Front " shirts? Georgia boy saying great job on the videos and racing... May you have great success in 2020... God Bless.
Lol Joseph said “sorry this 100 going to my wife!!” But man I wish I could have been there lately Joseph is turning it on first on pole then picks first outta the drawing but that 3 car really knows that track apparently. But either way you did Awesome!!!
Well guys you gave it your all ! But it is hard to beat a guy at the track he wins at all the time got everything figured out !! Even the fastest way to the porta pots !! Enjoy watching you guys do what you love !!
Hell of a video..had a blast watching this! I was pulling for you guys lol. Good luck next week and hopefully ya'll return to this track in a couple weeks and try again. Awesome camera shots!
A great episode, Johnathan. Thanks for posting up (and thanks for not saying you were super excited ;). Good luck next weekend (and the next and the next and ...)
Any podium is always good, and loading back up without being damaged is always a big plus. Ya definitely needed more grip, and different gear for that track. But ya done good, and learned more about the car. Good luck at the Nats, and as always God bless all of y'all.
Congrats Joseph on a third-place finish and fast qualifier not bad for the second time on that track it's a circle track no straightaways but it looks like you all had fun and that 3-car has got that track dialed in good luck next week in the big Street Stock race I hope y'all can win that one. You guys have a fast hot rod! And Joseph is a great driver and you are to Jonathan great video as always keep them coming please!!🏁🏁🏁 can't wait for the next video!!
Maybe you should've put him in the wall🤣🤣(Joking) It's tough to go to someone else's home track and out run em! Yall put up a good fight and made him earn it though! Good luck next week @ Whynot!
Yeah . Back when I was in racing the street stock ran an 8" recap tire stock exhaust manifold no screw jacks and basically a stock motor but rebuilt stock heads quadrajet carburetor
When we ran street stocks from 98-05 up here in middle Tennessee our rules allowed us to run jack-bolts, on the rear we could run a three or four link with a J or straight bar and either a lift bar or a biscuit bar. With a Hoosier RC-4 on a 10 inch wide steel wheel. The engine rules allowed us to run a built engine up to 360ci and any 4 barrel(we ran a big Demon carb), so basically a steel head limited late model engine. We had to run a steel body and weigh 3400lbs until the 2001 season which is when they lowered the weight to 2800lbs and started allowing all aluminum bodies, but all other rules remained the same.
What is Try County Speedway a quarter mile. Looked small. Joseph you did an awesome job of driving. The car looks good. Good luck next week at Whynot Speedway in Meridian Ms. God bless the Joiner Family.
Your car looked good definitely needs more grip though. Still a good run to be as good as you’re doing for the 2nd time out in the car that’s very impressive. But congrats to the 3 car, he’s definitely got his car & the track figured out. I hope you all go give them a run for their money at the big race, make them earn it. Great video as always guys.
As a child, I remember one of my favorite things about dirt tracks other than watching some good clean hard racing, was listening to the man up in the skybox calling the race down the stretch. The crowds excitement level built, as the top dogs beat... banged... and slid wildly all over the race track... that guy was always talking 110 miles per hour and you knew whatever he was saying was totally awesome, but you really couldn't understand a thing half the time :-) Those were the days.
i guess im asking randomly but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost the login password. I would love any help you can give me.
Looks like y'all had a good time, learned the car a little more. And loaded up on all 4. Looking good. God bless you all. I love the Jesus lives on the back of the car.
Good job guys I love your videos. Good luck this week. We had a 11109 to win street stock race at Plymouth speedway in Indiana not to long ago. The 01 Payton Taylor took that money back to Batesville Arkansas. Look out for him at Why Not.
I watched the race on a live feed from someone at the track. That 3 car is tough. Joseph needed some traction. He had all the motor he needed from what I could tell from qualifying and hot laps. Good luck at Nationals!!
LOOKING GOOD GREAT RUN AND GET READY FOR THE BIGGIE .. HEY SEE IF YOU GUYS CAN RUN A LIVE STREAM THIS WEEKEND AT THE RACE FOR ALL US HTF FANS LOVE YOU ALL GOD BLESS
@@johntaylor6283 yup that is true. We race a similar class here in the N.E. Dirt series. Unfortunately the price of race fuel ($10.50 per gal for VP98 crate motor fuel) makes break even a bit tougher also.
It's hard to go to a track like that and try to collect s bounty with never run at with that car before But you all did a good job and learned more about the car
That ole boy in the 3 can get up on it and drive... thought yall had a good shot when ya fast timed and got the pole on the pill draw... she was loose loose for sure. Cant wait too see the video from why not
That 3 car was pulling Joseph all the way around the track in the turns especially..hmmm he found traction somehow going to take a 602 to put run him lol. Great job fast qualifier..race on boys
When we ran street stocks up here in middle Tennessee from 1998-2005 we were allowed to run jack bolts. On the rear we could run a three link or a four link with a J bar or a straight bar, and either a lift bar or a biscuit bar. We had to run a Hoosier RC-4 on a 10 inch wide steel wheel. Our engine rules allowed us to run a built engine up to 360ci and any 4 barrel carb (which we ran a big Demon carb the last 4 or 5 years). So the rules allowed us to basically run a steel head limited late model engine. From 98-00 we had to run a steel body and weigh 3400lbs. From 01-05 we were allowed to run aluminum bodies and weigh 2800lbs.
I'm with joseph, the Car looks like it's loading the RR way to much. BTW, I loved the tire mount and tighten up clip you did, getting fancy with it lol
Okay I've drove race cars a long long long time and I have never seen anyone Drive the way he does it's incredible to see he can actually be somewhat proficient letting the we'll slip in and out of his hands like he does believe me that's not a knock on what he's doing I've just never seen anyone drive race car like that ever
Put a spring rubber in that left rear and its good to go. Unless you have weight Jack's. We used to alternate 2 turns from the heat and feature on a 1/4mile track like that one.
If that #3 wasn't sandbaggin' he be heading up to Whynot! 🤣🤣 Bummer that right rear got chunked out, Joseph told you it was a little light back there, did you hit the track bar when you drop the psi? Still, she was racey. Joseph, how can you be comfortable with your head pitch so far forward like that?? I'm sure the camera angle doesn't do my view any justice but man that vid made my kneck tired just holding back the whole race! 😏 Good job as always, it was cool seeing the Bounty eating with you, even if I think he was sandbaggin'! ha, I'm sure he wasn't, he sure was peddling in though. Good job by all. God bless!
Is it legal to run a cambered rear end in the street stock division ? If so you could get more of the right rear tire patch on the ground for better forward bite.
The Joiners are a class act!

Man these new "street stocks " looks more like the old Jr late model. Running screw Jack's and all. Great job boys
Yea they do.
I said same thing to my son there almost a limited late model minus tires and quick change
