    I sold my car for this bike but still need 3,000 more to buy it.

    Thanks for the video, helpful to see some footage and course recon before traveling out. Good luck!

    4:32 wild horses running past you on your route is insane. Great video!

    Hello, good video and great race, one question, is the bike a road bike with gravel tires?, what size is the bicycle? , thanks for the reply

      It’s a gravel bike but only was about to fit 42’s because of the front derailleur. I run 1x now so I can fit 45’s and it still has decent mud clearance with that!

    Is the Domane or Checkpoint better suited for the ride?

      If your getting it for gravel, for sure the checkpoint with its wider tires. If your mostly on the road but want to dip a toe into gravel, go Domane!

    Is it a confortable bike, specially at the front end?

      Comfort is going to come more from tire selection and this thing can take up to 45’s! I run 40’s with some vittoria inserts now which lets me run about 34/35 psi for me being 170lbs which is much nicer than 40psi!

    How did the bedding in process go for the brakes?

    • @jgoettl2.0
      @jgoettl2.0  Год назад

      Pretty easy on these. I find sram brakes to be not quite as powerful as Shimano, but definitely quieter and less brake rub issues after descending. Although the last time I was on Shimano road disc was 2019

      Jordan river trail if your tubless on your gravel bike (lots of thorns). I live in Draper so I don’t go on the other side of the highway much and mostly ride corner canyon for mtb or park city

    you betrayed the gravel discipline by putting a 2x on it. disgrace!

    Nice bike, I have the sl6 etap. Can't seem to find your Jersey on Treks site, where did you get it?
