Struck out on the initial release, but thankfully was able to pick them up on the DTLR restock. One of my favorite v3's out there, reminds me a lot of the 990v5 "Kool Grey" which is one of my most worn shoes. Very grateful to have received the second chance to scoop these up 🙏
Paid resell for these. While my girl got it on the second restock 🥲🥲🥲. But nonetheless I’m super grateful to have these in the collection. The red laces ultimately captured me which I opted for. Great video😎😎😎
That’s a fact but these were still well made. Nb1 gave you the option for materials as well? I don’t remember. Just experimented when it was available but never got a shoe made l. One of the nice things here is the leather tongue. Not sure if that was also available or more colors and less materials
I also appreciate the colorway choice of DTLR. I copped for my daughter the GS has a subtle differences the tongue is suede and not leather and the standard lace that came in the shoe is different overall dope collab I'm mad I didn't pick up a personal they look really good kn foot.
Great review. I was back and forth on these but ultimately decided against it. For some reason I personally don’t like the light grey in the toe cap area. I feel it makes the colors of the shoe unbalanced
Love this pair.. Was a easy cop if you downloaded the app for early access… I thought I was gonna like the red laces but they are way larger from a width perspective and look odd on… wish the red laces were skinnier other than that love this pair 🔥🔥
The red laces were meant to be for the bloodline of nb or something like that I can’t exactly remember. They said it when they originally released them. The grey scale is also supposed to be on honor of nb roots or whatever

Look at people rocking them on IG if you haven’t. AMAZING! I’ve been wearing NB for more than 30yrs and these go crazy. You wear your shoes how you want and I wear mine how I want. To each his own.

I didn’t like the midsole being half black and half white. Too stark of a contrast on foot. Should’ve been gray instead of black
I think if they provided white instead of red for the third set of laces, it would have been a good remedy to that problem.
