There are right wingers who are for balkanisation of countries and at best loose coolitions of city states or small intertwined communities (tribes) against bigger entities.
Surprisingly those models today are more viable because of the level of weapons technology. The guerilla and terrorist cells show it. Even a superpower can't match some dudes in a cave with mashine guns and rocket launchers. The Sowjet Union was bought down. And the US cannot win. Without permanent occupation the status just reverses back.
The right in the west looses because it is not oriented to the more traditional roots of societies.
National states are modern. Before the French revolution states were more of just territory controlled by ruling noble families. Culture and language would vary not depending on borders of those states.

Incorrect, if total war is waged and the civilian populace wiped out, the U.S.A would win rather easily. But not killing civvies is kinda our thing, so we won't go far enough. It is like me when I play Bannerlord, I know raiding villages and slaughtering and burning peasants is the best, most effective method of eroding enemy power. I don't do it though, cause I'm a 'good' guy.

This is an oldish video so I doubt anybody's gonna see this comment but I do like how this video communicates how a state monopoly on violence isn't just a tool of oppression but something that becomes necessary (state monopoly on violence is created to prevent violent external or internal forces from harming society)
It's also a good critique of anarchism that seeks to dismantle the state rather than to create support systems outside of the state
