@Jay_Tovennn 5.5s would be fine as well, but the 6.2s could still be tuned perfectly, have lower duty cycle, and means i won't need to buy new injectors if I go big bore down the line.
I don't have a great deal happening on the FXR front right now. 2 complete bikes pending fine tweaking, 1 evo fxr that I'm not game enough to do another full rebuild on but may do a refresh and FXRP that could be worth some content?
What a freakin difference, bangin! I just bought a 2023, any tips on removing kid’s tricycle style reflectors off the rear fender and bags? Fortunately they pulled clean from the forks. Any help is greatly appreciated. Ride that beauty safe and thanks!
I used a heat gun to warm them, and you can use floss or fishing wire to get under the reflector and remove. The fender ones where easy enough to remove by hand after heating them up, by just twising them side to side till the adhesive loosened all the way off.
@@jimmyrustles8118 thank you, thank you! I was hesitant because of the paint. I’m on it first thing in the morning as I don’t think I can look at ‘em another day.
I have about that same combo almost to the T. But star 30-30, s&s manifold 55mm, and 5.5 injectors instead. Thats pretty cool! Im just interested, what kinda numbers did it do?
Hey mate, nice work! Very similar combo indeed, which has proven results. I only went with the 6.2s over the 5.5s to future proof any big bore work. My bike pulled 126hp / 133ft lbs @ 2000ft altitude. At sea level dynos it's generally the 135ish mark I'm most impressed with the tune and the manners the bike has around town in addition to the bulk power it has on tap. How do you like your setup? What numbers did it end up with? The dyno graphs I've seen look pretty similar to the CR485
@Jimmy Rustles I'm in Montana at about 4100 feet. It did 125hp and 135tq dyno was ran in SAE. I was pretty impressed with the results. I also thought the primary needed beefing up with that kinda power so, cycle rama comp ramp and heavy springs. The hpi pipe sounds killer and preformed like a beast.
@@jimmyrustles8118 naw cruise control changes the whole game. A pipe for almost $2000 you gotta wait almost 2 yrs .I’ve hd a couple of HPI pipes there good but no way worth the wait or the 💰💰 my opinion
@nickthinkpainting1978 mine came with cruise control, so no need to wait for the 1 to 2 year back order people where dealing with for CC modules. As for the pipe, from click to delivery to my door in Australia in under 12 weeks. Others are happy with TBRs etc, I'm not. Easily worth the extra for me. Just my opinion, I buy what I want to run 😎
@@jimmyrustles8118 well you were lucky guys here in USA wait minimum of 12-15 months. Like I said I had the HPI it’s a good exhaust as are many others. Everyone runs what they want. I’m currently running the Thrashin 2-1 sounds killer great power. To each there own…
Excellent sound😊 congratulations on the ST, looking good ✅
Cheers mate 🙌
Can I ask why 6.2 & not 5.5 screaming eagle injectors? I have the same bike, on wait for the HPI and same cam. Just wondering

How does the bike run over all with that cam? thank you
That sounds awesome. Will you be uploading any FXR content soon?

@alexziegler2085 huge result! Good idea with comp and springs too, I just installed mine the other day.
Do you have a complete parts list including the ancillary parts you mentioned. I want this setup.
It was an APE Stage 2 + kit, it included:
APE/ CR485 camshaft.
Lifters
CR Billet Lifter Cuffs
SE Adj Pushrods
Cam Bearing
SE 55mm Intake
6.2gps injectors
SE 1275n clutch springs
Billet comp ramp
Technoresearch Directlink Tuner key
+ pipe /intake /tune
Good luck waiting for that pipe. No exhaust on the planet is worth that long a wait.
People wait way longer to get Cruise Control modules from Harley... same would apply yeah?
