- There are many deserving candidates who are unable to clear various competitive exams in spite of their rigorous hard work. Most of the competitive exams like upsc cse/ ias, ssc cgl, iit jee mains and advanced, neet, cat exam, gate, net jrf, cds, railway exams, banking exams etc are all objective type MCQ based exams.
Many candidates even after doing rigorous hard work just ignore some basic principles while attempting their question paper. Because of this they miss out the cut off marks. Otherwise a serious candidate can very well clear any competitive exam if he or she has followed a right preparation strategy.

Rules
1. Attempt the questions instantly on the OMR sheet in which you are 100% sure (don't leave to attempt the OMR sheet in last half an hour or 15 minutes if you know it's 100% correct answer)
2. Circle the questions in which u are 50% sure
3. Cross the questions you have no idea about
Things to remember
*Do not get emotional and attempt all the questions in which you are *not 100% sure* or only 50% sure
*Do not touch the questions you have no idea about
*calculate your marks on the basis of maximum cutoff.
*if your marks(on the basis of questions of questions you have attempted with 100% surety) is more than or equal to that maximum cutoff..Then...do not attempt the questions you have circled (in which you are 50% sure)
*If your marks are less than the maximum cutoff then just take the risk and attempt the questions you have circled.

2. Always attempt in serial order,mark answers immediately on OMR
3. Do your target i.e your cutoff.
4. Take calculated risk .
5. Do not over attempt and stay calm.

Personal experience : yes instruction padhna bahut zaruri hai. Mai AIEEE ke exam me instructions nahi padha tha. Aur maine pure question attemp kar diye. Aur jab result aaya to mai 2 marks reh gaya cutoff se. Jab bhi mai iske bare me sochta hun to thoda dard mahsus hota hai.
What will u do even if u qualify with 1 ,2 marks more than the cutoff no one will take u

Sir while solving mcqs of previous paper n mock test I am geting 50% right n 45% wrong . How should I avoide this 45% wrong and improve my right% ?
If a complement question tumara question paper me atha he , tub if you know that exact answer surely have answer Karo , if you confused about that ..at that time never attempt that type of question if you not willing. Negative mark se bachane keliye follow this tips.
Ex ) if you know 50 / 30 question surely but you attempt all the questions , tub 30 correct and 20 incorrect . Negative mark ayega tub mark bi kam se ayega.
If you attempt only 30 that you know
Then isme no negative mark
30 ×2 =60 around milega .......
Avoid complement question if you didn't know about that .
Sir is SSC can clear by 1 year without coaching 12hrs study but no background (graduation )be honest sir .I have completed 10+2 with Maths
