Today's project, I will create an oscilloscope from a cheap bluetooth headset. You will have a bluetooth headset, A smartphone with oscilloscope software. Need 2 resistors 100K or 200K and 1K. It forms a voltage divider. 3.3V zener diode to protect bluetooth headset. The measured frequency is dependent on the quality of the headphones. However, if the frequency is below 10Khz, it works quite well. I'm not sure the software will work with all phones. If it doesn't work, try another software, find the oscilloscope on google play.
If you like my video, give me a cup coffee. Thank you very much.

not all phones work, possibly works only on samsung 7 which has a receive bluetooth option, android phones usually are in the transmit mode which cannot receive bluetooth audio. i think bluetooth dongle with transmit mode can be used to connect to bluetooth receivers option as in samsung 7, bluetooth headphone is more complicated.

So you got it to send a signal to the phone & o'scope app, but the o'scope is free running! That includes your actual o'scope on the shelf. Your can't measure anything like that! Do you know how to use an o'scope?! Much more useful if you set the TRIGGER level to freeze the display, to be able to actually see a waveform change over time! That way, your can see changes and make measurements.
Also, if zener is going to ground on the earbud, not sure it's "protecting" the circuit. You'll need another zener to do that.
However, besides these concerns, I do like the fact that you've shown ppl how to use simple tech to accomplish other things, to get ppl to start "thinking outside the box" so to speak.
    Thanks for that!

Depends on phone, old phones don't have this issue, a modern phone gonna test if the connection with the electret is existing, this component has an specific impedance, if what connect on it's component place have different impedance characteristics, so this "microphone/oscilloscope" might be ignored because the impedance difference, the same happens with modern RCA connectors on modern TVs, if you connect only the audio jack and don't connect the video one, all the audio signal gonna be ignored, the same may happen if connect only the video and don't connect the audio cable, the modern circuit tests the signal connection condition.
It worked well on my old Android 4.4 phone using a wire P2 earphones cable, older hardware, on my modern phone, not a chance.
