I would love to just hold a piece of glacial ice - how amazing! Yes, formal dining is almost always a great choice, especially when traveling with family members, glad you caught that. Funny you're such a night owl, a completely different experience than I have heading to the hot tub at 4AM to start my days. Do you happen to know what glacier that is? Hubbard possibly? You probably heard that the Sun hit an iceberg in June after your trip and miss some sailings subsequently while it underwent repairs.

I'm not 100% about the actual glacier name. I did hear about the iceberg hit....it probably didn't help that we/the Sun hit a whale during our trip! Glad they got the repairs done quickly!

Hi Holly, Thanks for creating these videos! We are traveling on the Sun starting August 11th. Since you mentioned that each ship has to take a turn cruising around the main glacier, can you tell me about how long the ship was in that particular area? TIA

What is the name of the formal dining room?
