Season 1 was good, but Season 2 is on another level! We’ve uploaded our reactions to episodes 2x4, 2x5, 2x6, 2x7 & 2x8 over on Patreon for anyone wanting to get ahead! www.patreon.com/carlie_and_ange
"Soba" are japanese noodles usually served without soup but a dipping sause adn wasabi - this is a popular dish for summer since it is mostly cold served. "Men" are noddles you usually have in hot soups like "Ramen" (Ra-MEN).
Yep, you nailed it at 16:36. Mob is starting to understand that if his moral compass ever goes off course and he wrongly deems someone worthy of death, the only person who could stop him is himself. Scary realization. On your point about Mob not being the kind of person who would use his powers for evil - that's the thing that's freaking out Mob. What if he _thinks_ he's using his powers for good? What if he thinks he's doing the right thing, but really he isn't?
Imagine someone telling you at work you need to do something for them for 2 hours, you show up and wait for what you're supposed to do, waiting for 2 hours, then they forget about you and tell you that their not going to pay for the 2 hours of your time that they wasted.
@@bLuGhOsT_You mean Ange? He was the one on the side of the people who left Reigen high and dry. Carlie was saying that should have at least paid him for the time spent.
I never expected this kind of theme from this show until this episode. Mob realizing if he turned bad there wouldn't be anyone with enough power to match him. Mobs such a good kid but I imagine the thought that you are unstoppable must be a huge burden.
Dimple tried to make things easy for Mob by throwing the family under the bus. If the dad turned into an evil spirit Mob would then have to exorcise them and the conflict would have been resolved What Dimple did whats really messed up but he did it to make Mob’s life easier
As a bonus, the spirit resisting was a good sign it wasn’t trying to deceive mob, so even if he failed he made the moral quandary easier to resolve. Tough love at its finest.
this is what i love so much about mob psycho. finally, these implications that have been there from the start (if youre the strongest, would there even be someone that could stop you?) are actually explicitly brought up. and because mob is such a sweet little guy on the inside, he has real, existential problems now because he simpls doesnt know what to do; its not his fault that he has these powers, but it would be his fault if he used them for something bad! its so much to put on a 14 year old kid. i want to protect him so much 😭😭
Soba is just a type of noodle made with buckwheat flour. It can be served in a variety of ways, whether as cold noodles with a soy sauce-based dipping sauce (like Zaru or Mentsuyu soba dish), in a stir fry (like Yakisoba), or in a soup (like Sansai soba). If you have an Asian market around you, there are pre-made bottles of Zaru/Mentsuyu sauce (also called Tsuyu) that are pretty good, so it is an easy dish to make and having cold noodles during the summer is delicious.
Mob is growing up. ❤ Loved that Reagan was very observant of Mob and always challenging him as he grew and at the same time backing him up when it was too much for him or if he would get hurt.
This season still stands above most other shows for me, it's firing on all cyclinders and literally only gets better with each episode. The perfect balance of a simple, yet layered and poignant story - mixed with insane animation and action that only enhances the plot. S tier anime.
it is noodle made of buckwheat.... so it is different from like ramen or udon..... and it like any kind of noodle you can serve it different ways im not going to be bothered to go into that
Soba: The Nutty Elegance of Japanese Buckwheat Noodles Soba, a staple in Japanese cuisine, is a culinary masterpiece that showcases both simplicity and sophistication in its preparation and presentation. This versatile noodle, made primarily from buckwheat flour, has become a symbol of Japanese culinary artistry, celebrated for its subtle flavor, unique texture, and cultural significance. The star ingredient, buckwheat, lends soba its distinct characteristics. Buckwheat is naturally gluten-free and possesses a delightful, nutty flavor that sets soba apart from other noodle varieties. The process of making soba noodles is an art in itself, demanding a skilled hand to craft the perfect dough and achieve the ideal thickness and texture. The dough is rolled out and cut into thin strands, resulting in long, elegant noodles that are both delicate and satisfying. One of the most intriguing aspects of soba is its versatility in preparation. Soba noodles can be served hot or cold, offering an array of dishes to suit different seasons and preferences. Zaru soba, for instance, is a refreshing cold soba dish often served in the sweltering summer months. The noodles are meticulously arranged on a bamboo mat, accompanied by a dipping sauce made from soy sauce, mirin, and other seasonings. This presentation emphasizes the clean, unadorned beauty of soba, allowing the nutty flavor of the noodles to shine through. In contrast, hot soba dishes, such as kake soba or tempura soba, are perfect choices for colder seasons. The noodles are immersed in a steaming hot broth, often made from dashi (a flavorful stock) and soy sauce. Toppings like tempura, scallions, or nori seaweed can be added to enhance the flavor profile, creating a heartwarming and comforting meal. Beyond its delicious taste and various preparations, soba carries cultural significance in Japan. It is customary to eat soba on special occasions, such as New Year's Eve, to symbolize longevity and bid farewell to the old year. The act of slurping soba noodles, while considered impolite in many cultures, is encouraged in Japan as a sign of enjoyment and appreciation. Soba's elegance extends beyond its flavor and cultural relevance. It embodies the delicate balance between simplicity and sophistication that characterizes Japanese cuisine. From its humble ingredients to its intricate preparation and presentation, soba noodles are a testament to the culinary craftsmanship of Japan. Whether enjoyed as a light, refreshing summer dish or a comforting winter meal, soba continues to captivate food enthusiasts around the world with its timeless allure. In every bowl of soba, one can taste the essence of Japan's culinary heritage, making it a true masterpiece of gastronomy.

2:10 that spirit was satisfied after mob gave him the gangs group photo, thus he naturally disappeared.
