Such a great vlog! Once again it is such a motivation to see you manage your day and do your uni work. Don't worry about it seeming to be repetitive, this exactly gives me a very calm and hygge feeling. Can't wait for the next one.
hey Lydia, just wanted to send you some words of encouragement during your dissertation. I finished mine this past September and the process was so far from linear. It took almost a month and a half just to figure out if I was asking the right questions. It’s all completely normal even though not many people talk about it. You’ve got this and I’m so proud of you 🫶🏼
I love the weekly uni vlogs! Really makes me miss my uni days. With the only differenc that I loved the rain so much since we didn't get much of it :D I hope you're having a wonderful weekend
Dublin recommendations from a local: the whole area around George's Street and St William's Street is my favourite for bars and restaurants. Yamamori Izakya is an amazing Japanese restaurant but a little pricey. Juanitos is also really nice. Better to reserve a table in advance though - they get really busy. Pyg does lovely cocktails 2 for €20 but it's very dark and loud - if you ask to sit in Little Pyg it's much nicer. The best night club in Dublin is Copper Faced Jacks - it's easily the most famous night club in Ireland. I haven't done many of the touristy things myself (like the Guiness Storehouse or the Book of Kells) so I can't give recommendations on those. For midnight on NYE there is a big event in the city centre with performers and fireworks. It's ticketed and all the artists performing are Irish so you might not have heard of them. I've heard that there's a Christmas Market/ Winter wonderland being set up in Dublin Castle that looks cute. Haven't been but I'll go at some point because it's free, but you have to reserve a ticket in advance. Do not drink in Temple Bar - it's soo overpriced because it's a tourist trap! If you have time, try to do a day trip somewhere. Dublin is OK, but there are lots of really lovely places nearby. Hope you have a fabulous trip 🇮🇪
Me: literally coming to my uni library to do work Lydia: *posts* Me: Well, I came to library, I deserve a break right? Seriously though, Lydia, I'm loving the vibes and aesthetics of your recent uni videos!! :)
Always feel so motivated after watching your videos Lydia!! Obsessed with your uni vlogs. I hope all is going well and I hope your siblings have settled into university!! ❤️
Hey Lydia! Just wanted to say that you are so inspiring and so encouraging to me even when I don't feel productive at all!! I really hope you're doing great and you keep posting this amazing content :)!
Hey Lydia! As someone who lives in Dublin some of my favourite places and reccomendations are the Howth Cliff walk, Bray to graystones walk, phoneix park, st.stephens green park, Guinness storehouse tour and grafton street! Hope you have a lovely time!
I went to Dublin on my 18th for two nights. Awesome city, and it was by far the best birthday I've ever had😁 I would highly recommend going to the Guinness factory, because not only do you get two free samples of Guinness, you also get a whole tour on the place, and a full history of Arthur Guinness, the founder.
Dublin recs for you from a fellow Dubliner! Camden street is always hopping any weekend so I garuntee on new year it’ll be fab, there are loads of bars there - the typical tourist area of temple bar is rammed on a normal weekend so I’d probs avoid that on New Year.
Hey Lydia, How u been doin.. u r my real idol actually and have been through u from past 3 years.. so I m from India and I want to meet u once in my lifetime.. and that's y I planned to have my Msc in Uk.. I have been now in UOL and dream to meet u hope you understand my craze behind u lol
Doing a dissertation in the first place takes energy, let-alone redoing it. I wish you all the best.
Thank you!
