Personally, I feel like the anime really fell off a cliff after All Might vs All For One. As for the Manga, it had dips in quality for sure, but I feel like MVA was the last great arc. The PLW was great in a vacuum, but it was really just hype moments with no reason or payoff. And outside of Dabi's dance, it's really not worth rereading. And the Villain Hunt and Final War arcs have just been terrible.
Yeah my thought exactly, like the Sf and Stain are good because they introduce and expand the greys where in The festival you get Endeavor(who actually has a suspiciously good character arc for MHA) who while a hero is a peicw if shit, white in the next arc you get Stain which is about a villain who is villain but is doing it for something he thinks is right but then it just goes away until it partially returns in MVA. And Mirio is a good character whichs means when he appears in the a Overhaul its good. And Bakugo and Dabi are pretty good.
If a story has amazing looking fights you are absolutely going to draw in people to check it out. Adding entire arcs centered around school activities will absolutely draw in complaints when the story was initially advertised as a battle manga. Basically if you’re mad someone doesn’t think the school arcs are important and are a waste of time then you really aren’t watching the same show as it’s being advertised
My hero academia side characters have the depth of a puddle on a rainy day, simply put the writing is mid at best and just boring in comparison to stories like hunter x hunter
The first 3 seasons and the first two movies were excellent. The next 3 seasons and the third movie were just less interesting. I don't mind the filler episodes and like the lighter tone of earlier episodes. It now feels stretched out (especially Season 5). I will still watch season 7 and hope they wrap things up there but without trying to redeem Shigaraki who is irredeemable. I don't want to see Deku and a young Tenko (pulled out of the vestige world) going to UA together in the final scene of the series.

The first three minutes of video can be boiled down to "is mha good or is just another shonen" the topic of the video is interesting to me but having it be only 13 minutes long with such a long introduction just isn't enough time
So after watching the whole thing, I feel like the rest of the video is pretty well paced and I don't feel like was just quickly brushed over but rather the information was condenced really well, and the really long opening feels even weirder now.

I dropped off around half way thru season 2. It just wasn't keeping me intrigued and entertained.
