I find that most DIY jobs are: start job, realise you are missing something you need, stop job. 😁 Think 13 feet is the bridge height above the water / air draught.
I think we have pretty much all those jobs to do too haha I think the technical term for nose fender is nose cushion sorry to correct you , lovely vlog guys, great fun :)
Hi Amy and Wes. I bet it’s so annoying when you take ages to moor your boat and then you find an ideal one further along. Nice little camera. Take care. Nick
Aw love the vlog. We really do look forward to them. Must say that river look gorgeous. Donget you prep done for winter and get your fire on. Glad you have the radiators on take care.
😍😍keep going with your version of the history channel, it makes me 😀😀😀😃as we travel along. I love my Nicholsons❤️ I have the same feelings of separation and safety when I leave moorings I really like and stay for a while. I get too comfortable but it’s nice to have a good break when travelling. Lovely happy vlog as always ❤️❤️
Thank you for my little claim to fame! LOL My hubby was watching with me and was excited as me when i received the comment of the week. This time you made both of us smile. Your history followed by your giggle was so funny. Love and hugs for keeping it real as always xxx
Hi Amy, Wes, A lovely cruise today. Your DIY jobs at the start of the Volg made me smile. I think you did only 1/3😀. A non hectic time for you both on this Vlog. Loved the mooring up on the Thames which was fun, you would think they (River Thames Authority) would install mini bridges to mini pontoons, so that narrowboats can moor up safely without grounding. Great to see Rufus. Hope Dupes is OK. Have a lovely week. Take Care.
You guys are so wonderful.l am addicted to watching all your videos now..your my favourite you tubers.l look forward to seeing you more and more.l do hope your nice and warm on the boat.until next time, take care and much love.
Hi Guys, window sealant. Try captain Tolley’s Creeping Crack. I applied it three times and it just find the gaps and seals them. Great stuff. Cheers, David NB No moon at all.
We were moored up in Abingdon at the same time as you, you can see our boat in your footage from the pub. Wish I had known at the time, we could have bought you a cup of tea. It's Proud Mary, the red widebeam. We next moored up behind you at Newbridge. Hopefully we'll see you again next summer. Good luck for the winter, Brenda and Richard
Really glad you liked Abingdon, it’s my home town and the river is my favourite part! Gutted we didn’t bump into you as were always on the River in our boat. Keep up the great work, love the vlogs
Hi guys another top video you two crack me up at times lol video full of content stay safe out there yeah you need a gun and cut the end off and screw the spout on it lol
Wow those big houses, how the other half live 🙃 The bridge that was 13ft wide was referring to the width of the road above. I didn't realise cathedral City made a vegan cheese, I must check it out. I went to the vegan fayre at the Nec just to buy a nice cheese, they're was one cheese stall and they didn't have any nice cheese. Good luck with your new waters. 💚
Guys I have just subscribed to your channel and love it. You guys are very down to earth keep up the great journey and take care of yourself s From Paul in Australia.
You guys are hilarious! Just so that you know the lengths noted for bridges on waterways denotes the height from the surface of the water to the bottom of the bridge. Basically there is 13 ft clearance for a boat.
Silly canal boaters - 13ft in the Nicholson guide is for the guidance of large expensive cruisers and is the clearance (at normal stream heights) - so that they don't knock thet G and Ts off the cabin top. No worries for NB's though..
Great video guys - what was the name of the camera please ( looks cool) 👌 also your DIY skills are awful 😆 🤣 but your attempting stuff which is better than leaving so you get a bonus point for that 👍
@@BoatTime if the faceplate of the thermostat can come off the name and possibly the model number might be on the back of the faceplate or on the thermostat it’s self. It could also be in the heat unit, or on the radiators.
More laughs with boat time love the history bits 😂😂😂😂
Get yourself a mastic gun Wes😉 Silicone here silicone there🤣 fun for all that family lol😆😂😉xxxx

Get some polarised sunglasses. They are amazing and will stop the glare from the water 👍
Also wez’s jumper reminds me of biology back at school, learning about chromosomes 😂

😂 ahhh, how silly of us in our small little boat 😂😂
Hello can you place baby awnings over the windows as well? Safe travels
It would be a big job but some newer boats do have them and they work well!
Great video guys - what was the name of the camera please ( looks cool) 👌 also your DIY skills are awful 😆 🤣 but your attempting stuff which is better than leaving so you get a bonus point for that 👍
Have you used Google to find the owners manual for you radiator.
of course! but our model is a knock off, so there isnt a model number or anything to search

You do know what “BOAT” means don’t ya?
It means Bust Out Another Thousand
dont we know it 😂
Uncharted waters!!!! It"s the Thames not the upper reaches of the Amazon.
Past Abingdon may as well be the upper reaches of the Amazon for us! 😂
Yay I love watching your videos,I feel like we are neighbours because I’m from Sheffield
Thank you! We love Sheffield, and definitely miss it. It's such a lovely city!
Worst pub ever don't take cash. Which is just muggy. And charged the Mrs £10 for a single Pimm's.
