I'm with you -- of the minority of fans who prefer to meet the opposing team at their BEST. I hope Clemson has no future injuries and any injuries (if they exist for you guys) heal up 100% by the time Bama meets Clemson. Alabama has Tua with his knee (Which he was allowed to remove brace in last game.. and DID hit 18/22 for 82% accuracy and 350 yards with 4 Touchdowns) -- BUT, when asked about the knee Tua didn't act like it was actually healed. He acted more like it was still an issue and the brace came off is helping his mobility but the knee will be an ongoing issue. Oh well. Jalen Hurts had major ankle surgery and played some reps (actually rolled on a boot leg to right in redzone.. would usually try to run in .. but kept eyes down field and hit receiver in back of endzone for TD. Jalen looked good in his limited play). So Bama's QB situation is looking up (knock on wood). However, there are some other key injuries for Alabama that make an impact on both sides of the ball -- moreso on this offensive line though. Bama's O-line goes from very good to definitively best in the country with ONE person. That person is LG - Deonte Brown who developed Turf Toe last week.. so maybe he'll be back by playoffs. Of course most of the players on both sides of the ball are 'banged up' and many playing through some sort of injury or another.. though I imagine Clemson is the same way as we come to a close of the season.
