You should consider making the wall separating the railway line from the pavement a bit taller. If I where you I'd want to add a bunch of telescope pieces running along the top, with several long 1x tiles or plates running along the top. If done all in black it would look like a lovely wrought iron fence going along the wall. Could add some ornamental 1x1 cones and/or round bricks along the top too.i figure
The new entrance looks great. Josie for the win today. I have mixed feelings about all that parking space. That's typically a poor use of space with just the big flat grey area it creates. In most cities it's a bad decision. Here the tables are just SO big that it mostly works with the vehicles in place. The stalls near the edge give good sight lines, but the ones near the standing hole feel like they should be a small building with a coffee shop or news stand instead. Or being next to pop culture street .... Shawarma!!
Hi Bricksie and Jose. A truly tremendous improvement to the Train Station and car park. Your combined effort is so appreciated by this ALOL. It's so evident in all the little details and stories you have created. I love the entrance with the trees and tiling. It's superb! Well done!
You are a lucky man to have your lucky lady there to help! Being able to make twice the progress must be. a game changer! Good on ya'll cant wait to see what ya'll do next! I'm kind of excited to see it when its all fully complete. Than itll be a matter of making changes or 'remixing' the city lay out. I would love to see a sci fi display-im a sucker for space and sci fi story telling. Not that you need to do that but thats something im working on in my own creations
Hi Bricksie! Your lego city is amazing! I have a suggestion, you should add a freeway. If you plan to build one, I would recommend building an elevated freeway on top of the roads that are already there to save space. You could either build 2 lanes or 4 lanes using the lego city road plates. Anyways, I can’t wait to see more builds and updates! Great job 😀👍
Hey Bricksie, I just wanted to say how amazing your Lego train station build is! The attention to detail and effort you and Mrs Bricksie put into it really shows, and it’s inspiring to watch. If I may offer a suggestion, I think making the station a bit larger and reducing a couple of the car parking bays could make it even more impressive and give it a grander feel and fit nicely into the scale of the city. Just a thought! Keep up the great work!
Looking good!! Suggestion; instead of the road and bowling parking lot, you could build a nice big square in front of the station, just like in Europe with all the buildings facing the square and a fountain in the middle! Little alleys instead of roads; a big area which is only walk- and bikeable! Its perfect because cars are parked on the other side. Gives you more space for buildings and stories aswell?
The middle color of the train tracks should be grey and brown to reflect the real work that goes on maintaining rail stations. A few signal posts with a small elevated building for the station workers could also be a nice touch.
At some point I can see Bricksie figuring out a way to fill in the square access holds as well. Square tables on lockable wheels with a system to crank them up from underneath would do it.. Could be great for parklands and wildlife areas, along with a few lower building areas.
Hello Bricksie - here are a few thoughts for your city - I know a brand new member who is now sticking her Lego nose into YOUR city - who the heck am I and to boot I am from the US. Suggestions: 1. When developing any parking areas (trains, planes and automobiles) please add a few disability parking spots, and if you truly want to make them user friendly next to spots add white hash marks as this constitutes that no one can park in the area with the hash marks. (At least that is the way it is in the US - many people ignore this - grrrr). Add curb cuts to your sidewalks, at the end of the cut add straight white bricks with blue gray indicating a crosswalk. 3. Add handrails to the stairs and the ramps (HUGE THANK YOU FOR ADDING THE RAMP TO THE TRAIN STATION). I am a double lower limb amputee and can climb stairs but do need a rail. 4. Add rails to other stairs that lead into buildings (if possible). 5. In the city area that has housing it would be really sweet if you would make some of the housing one level again makes it easier for anyone who uses a wheelchair for mobility and for we who might find stairs to be a pain the the neck. 6. With the train station where the mini figs board the train add a platform that indicates it can raise and lower for a wheelchair to board. You can fully ignore all of this and no I will not be insulted, it is your city and well it is drop bang gorgeous. Keep up the amazing videos and the wonderful snippets of your family have a marvelous weekend., If you look at the mini fig walking away from the parking lot up to the station - no ramp or handrail - how would someone using a wheelchair, pushing a baby stroller, or have a mobility disability get up into the station? Also, again here in the states, raised dotted areas say at street crossings, entering train stations etc. are used for individuals who are blind as it allows the person know they are approaching a street or other areas that might indicate danger.
Think it'd be cool if the haunted mansion is moved to the empty space behind the university. Like the two kinda go together style wise but also for story telling. Having a haunted mansion in a wooded area behind university premises, college students daring each other to go explore the mansion. Just an idea, keep doing what you're doing. It's gonna be awesome anyway.
Bricksie, if I may offer a suggestion? Move the studgard station towards the double tunnel portals. Then move the railway crossing, to where the station used to sit. This means that not only can you add more outside platforms, but you can even add them to the tunnels, by thinking underground metro station, for a moment. There, a station long enough for your full sized trains, maybe even with a longer roof. The bonus would be, it would be sitting behind the tank station. That a idea for your consideration, Bricksie?
I love your progress!! To me, this station feels like it ONLY services the amusement park and old residential area. Maybe consider having the trains split leaving the station so one would head towards downtown/country??
The area looks incredible now. There needs to be a ticket kiosk by the back entrance What about converting the old Starbucks from the old layout’s platform cover into one of the stores in the strip mall by the train station
Old Train stations are often some of the largest and most amazing buidlings, and i think increasing the size of that train statin by lengthening each side would add to its look and branduer.
Hey Jordan, I just thought of an awesome idea when the city is finished. You should have your city be in a part three of the LEGO movie. Like in part 1 in Will Ferrell's basement.
Love the station although I think there should be a gap before the stairs to the platform I.e a ticket booth and place where people see the train times. Atm anyone can hop onto the train
I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical of how the parking spaces all along that road would look when you started talking about that idea, but I think it turned out really great. The new back entrance looks very fitting with the rest of the build and overall it made a huge improvement in this area. Nice work!
Like the 2ed entrance of the trian station, but when you showed it off from the end it looked a little lopsided. Could duplicate that's on the other side
Great update, love the new entrance and the fence along the parking lot. I see it’s not extended to the other side but the road crossing, do you intend to continue the fence on the other side?
Why don't you curve off direclty from the switch? No you switch, curve back, go strait and then make the curve in the trainstation I think curve of directly from the switch will look way better and you open up more space
Rather then do a strip mall on that side of the studgate train station, why not expand the haunted house graveyard around that corner to the train station and it'll give it some space and you can utilize that corner with the train track and the haunted house, make a wall similar to the dog park wall.
Not fare from where I live their is a bike track parth. Next to train line... An no wall dividing it. Just a ditch water stream .between the train line an walk parth bike track.
The only problem with miles plates is when needing to move them cas of the size of them an fact of how much $$$ it take. For the infill parts an lots of plate s. But with haveing just standard base plate U can just have another base plate sitting under them. And when needing to move. House each moduler fits into. Big storidge container s with bubble wrap an thos air pocket thing s but if mile plate thay whant fit into storidge containers so risk of part falling of modules when moveing house ..but I guess for you. You whant need to move .studio any time soon. But for some of us. Making it easy when needing to move house. Thinking smart and a head of time help s 😊
I don't think the university suits being next to the theme park and bowling ally, it would best suit the city centre where you had it. Just my opinion of course.
Mrs. Bricksie is LOCKED IN! Love how supportive you are for each other, my fave lego couple!
The train station modification looks great. You two make a great team.
It would be nice to dubble the station to match the lenght of the train
I was going to say the same thing. Increase length of train station would look great!
@@mr.sherrill9137or at least extend the platform to match.
*Double not dubble. It was actually hard for me to type because my AutoCorrect kept correcting the word to the correct spelling so you might wanna turn your AutoCorrect on.
DOUBLE jesus get an education
I've been saying this since bricksie built it

It’s honestly all looking brilliant 👍
Loving the way that whole area is coming together. Yourself and Mrs Bricksie are doing an incredible job together.

Street food vendors, coffee concessions near the station will add some fab story telling to what has to be a high footfall area place.
Looks amazing would love to see a railed fence On the wall of the train station divide from the sidewalk
Love the strip mall idea!
City looking great 👍
You need some restaurants.
The train station looks amazing! 🎉 And the placement is perfect. Fits great in the city.

Love Josee’s tiling pattern.❤
Mills plates are handy love the new modified train station looks

In the green space between the tracks, you may add some rail road ties laying around...or ro rock crumbles...like it's still being worked on...
The bricksies working together is like Travis Kelce and T Swift. Unstoppable
Great video Love the train station. You have inspired me I was building a Lego car but now I am sorting out my Lego boxes instead.
Spectacular modifications! Those parking stalls by the train station are the 💣!! 🙌
Plenty of room for that Krusty Burger!
Any chance you could move the haunted house to the country side, might look better there with lots of trees 🌳 😊
Good work!
The new entrance to the train station looks awesome 😎🤙🏻.
Beautiful train station, I have the same
It would be great to add some bike parking near the station 😊
Instead of modular buildings, maybe add a bus interchange in that area.
Wow, I really love it🤩🤩🤩🤩

Like the then new entrance. A bus station would look good in this area, ideal where your gas station is currently.

You should king blocks at the end of the stalls to make it more realistic since they’re right up against the sidewalk 🎉
The train station looks a lot more polished now. Before, it looked odd with all the green plate around it.
The area looks incredible now. There needs to be a ticket kiosk by the back entrance What about converting the old Starbucks from the old layout’s platform cover into one of the stores in the strip mall by the train station
I was concerned if the green train would hit that wall or not, I’m glad it worked out
Ever consider building a multi level parking garage?
Old Train stations are often some of the largest and most amazing buidlings, and i think increasing the size of that train statin by lengthening each side would add to its look and branduer.
Me: it looks decent. Bricksie: I’m going to transform the whole area.
For that wall ledge you just added at the car park an station on-top of it add. Telescope part s and had cuff part to make a fence along that ledge .
I love how Jordan always has the minifig population's safety in mind while developing the city!
Hey Jordan, I just thought of an awesome idea when the city is finished. You should have your city be in a part three of the LEGO movie. Like in part 1 in Will Ferrell's basement.
With such a huge city your train station should almost be double the length!
Nice job. Greetings from Germany
hey jordan just wanna say i love your videos and your lego city is amazing!!
Perhaps a bus stop or two outside the station as there’d be in a town or city?
Bricksieland billboard where the mound sits
Love the station although I think there should be a gap before the stairs to the platform I.e a ticket booth and place where people see the train times. Atm anyone can hop onto the train
A small dark forest between the haunted mansion and train station would look great
You know what I can't see in your city? Post boxes. Do you have them and I just can't see them?
I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical of how the parking spaces all along that road would look when you started talking about that idea, but I think it turned out really great. The new back entrance looks very fitting with the rest of the build and overall it made a huge improvement in this area. Nice work!
Looking good. Have you thought aboot building a parking garage, like 3-4 stories?
Starbucks coffee shop next to studgate station
Need parking payment machines
While you had it apart, you should have made taller and wider. So the Disney train could go through it for the amusement park.
When your kids are my age or your age, they will have your legos and be AFOLs.
Like the 2ed entrance of the trian station, but when you showed it off from the end it looked a little lopsided. Could duplicate that's on the other side
The wall separating the parking and the rails should be higher for security, to my mind.
Sorry Bricksie, love the station and wheelchair ramp but where is the disabled parking bay sir? 😢 love the work!
I’m surprised you haven’t doubled the green passenger train yet. I found a deal on a used second set and in my opinion it looks twice as goes with 2 😂
Great update, love the new entrance and the fence along the parking lot. I see it’s not extended to the other side but the road crossing, do you intend to continue the fence on the other side?
XMen mansion with grounds would fit great in that amusement park idk 😊
Maybe it missed to you have any of the Howard’s castles?
Can the train make the turn from the other side? It looks like it would hit the wall you built.
11:00 perfect place for a Timmies…
Hi, do you have a tutorial for you new curved road and road with bike lane? Love them so much that i want them to make my self.
best regards,
tom
For now, why don’t you put a playing field behind the University. It will fill up the space quickly and can easily be replaced later. Keep Brickin.
The station needs bike racks!
Are you going to make a path to access the ninjago city ? It will be cool if you make the access through the water only.
Plz plz plz do x mansion maybe mod it but custom mini figs and add another floor
Why don't you curve off direclty from the switch?
No you switch, curve back, go strait and then make the curve in the trainstation
I think curve of directly from the switch will look way better and you open up more space
In your Lego city do you have plan to place other train station though the city or in other area? Enjoy watching!
Rather then do a strip mall on that side of the studgate train station, why not expand the haunted house graveyard around that corner to the train station and it'll give it some space and you can utilize that corner with the train track and the haunted house, make a wall similar to the dog park wall.
Jprdan & Jose, which set is the little red vintage pickup truck with white bed sides from? you have it right on the corner next to the train station.
The station should be longer, in real life it's a security incident to stop the train with a cart outside of the platform
Bricksie, how do people get from the train? The wagons are not one entity and the platforms too small to board and unboard...
can you move the haunted house to the amusement park?
can the train make the turn in both directions with that wall so close?
Not fare from where I live their is a bike track parth. Next to train line... An no wall dividing it. Just a ditch water stream .between the train line an walk parth bike track.
Nice
She looks unhappy with all the Lego

Hi,
Got my hands on a 60 box collection mostly lego city from 2010-2012. Trying to sell if it may interest you. All open boxes 99% complete.
Y ou need parking on the back side.
quality over quantity is what im missing here, this city looks like a gigantic mess
Dude it’s a work in progress, stop hating so much. Just because you’re unhappy doesn’t mean you have to make others feel the same.
How do you afford all this?
Gör en affär
On the side he’s a drug kingpin
It's called a job
This is his work, so when he buys it’s like he’s reinvesting into his company/channel
From viewers like us
But honestly that ninjago got to go. Im not a pessimist person but its the worst lego theme and it doesn’t make sense in a city
Hi
I don't think the university suits being next to the theme park and bowling ally, it would best suit the city centre where you had it. Just my opinion of course.
