That tractor and harrow are a fabulous combination and does a great job , you are lucky you are in a really nice part of the world , good luck from Wexford Ireland where it’s still to wet to do any field work
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Congratulations to grant for his first haircut. He looks great. Fine young man. Like your hay seeder. Many times an older machine does a great job better than a fancy one. Nice older machine you have there. Like that big old iron tillage machine you use for you hay ground. Does a great job. Thanks for the drone footage. It was great. The tilled ground looks great. Ready to seed the hay ground the way it looks. That newly painted wall in the house looks great. Makes it brighter. Thanks. Thanks for everything Kip. The Iowa Farm Boy.
It’s always great watching your videos. I felt a little bit of pride watching as I put together your corn order. I’ll be doing your soybeans as well. Keep up the great work Sieglers!
That barber is used to doing kids' haircuts. That is good for Grant. He is growing up fast. You are so right about painting. The years go by fast. You know the paint to use. It is top rated for sure. The sheen will dull down after awhile. We still have some snow in the Calgary area. 😊
Hi Kip . and so it begins, tillage and planting season , love this time of year hope you all have a great season i love your drone footage , looks like some great farmland God Bless you and your beautiful family ,
Fair play kip happy wife happy life your not afraid to take on a bit of painting your place is class and I love the grant man's hair cut I hope you keep some for the scrap book for when he s 21 😂good times the farm looks great we are getting a bit of shit weather here in Ireland at the moment a lot of rain but hopefully good weather coming soon👍
Recently started watching your farming videos. Really impressed with your operation. You mentioned in an earlier video that you served in Korea, I gather from the picture on your wall you were in the USAF. Thank you for your service and best wishes for continued success.
You can put beans in early. They take more cold than you think. Real early beans yield much better. It's free bushels. Lots of guys doing beans first for a few days and then to corn. Good luck and stay safe !!!
We run a Kent 36ft soil finisher and we use it to finish all our fields corn and soybean and personally the corn seems to like the finisher over a standard drag
At the farm I work at on the other side of the state from you were were planting oats today and discing some ground that was too wet this fall. You guys should get some auto steer units for some of those tractors. That sure is nice. They are pricy but I think they really pay for themselves
Hey Kip I don't know about may 1 for planting corn this year. Saw my first bumble bee of the year yesterday, gonna check out oak trees. If the leaves are as big as squirrels ears it's time to start planting corn. Antique rock? Is that like Wisconsin permafrost? Very surprised your dad didn't break out the Bondo and fix that seed box like new. You are just like a little kid with that grease gun! That's how you keep that machinery to last though. How many tubes of grease do you go through annually? How about giving us some vital statistics on the farm. # of cows, how many acres, family and jobs stuff like that. God bless you and your family. You guys stay healthy and safe out in the fields this year. 🐄🥩🚜

The Grant man looks like a true little boy! I remember my son’s first haircut- he screamed the whole time. He’ll be 18 next month. How time flies!

Enjoyed this video a ton. Springtime is the best when you get to turn dirt, new calves getting born, and the family growing. Never a dull day.

No I am very sure Kip is Army all the way, more importantly he is a patriot. A great example of who and what you can be.
I think I saw your Dads truck at the Marlette Auction Monday. I was selling tools in the Flea Market.
Tillage, planting, spraying, harvesting...seems like tillage would be the most enjoyable task. Less stress. Just get er done.
You can put beans in early. They

Hii👍👍
Southeast of Edmonton Alberta Canada too much snow still on the ground the do real farming
If I remember correctly we run the same air pressure in both duels on are fifty twenties. Why do you run less air pressure in the out side duel?
reduces pressure on axle bearings that could come from the leverage exerted further out on the axle
@@jameskelley8839 had not thought about that. Have a good day!
LETS GO
What is the 2 cylinder tractor you showed? when I started helping dad his row crop tractor was a 70.

How come your seeder isn’t on the back because that’s where it was on the one my parents had
