How to Defeat Romeo, King of Puppets in Lies of P (Easy Kill)

- King of Puppets is one of the hardest bosses in Lies of P and after dying countless times I found a cheese strategy to easily kill him without having to fully engage him and lead him to his death. The video explains how to cheese him.

You can always start with the wishingstone that heals your spectre too so you dont have to worry as much about it dying too soon

Do not dodge to the back, probably the worst strategy for phase 2. Always dodge to the left, once he starts an attack, simply dodge to the left. If he triggers his fire attack, run away, then dodge left when he does his lunging attack (he'll do it about 3 times in his fire combo).

Cluster grenades are also a great item due the the high stagger. Fire-> Acid-> Cluster-> Fatal

I realized all I had to do is chuck them things as fast as I could and make sure the spectre is still alive and has decent health left. If your summon dies before Phase 2, The skinny guy will keep coming at you over and over and you will barely get a chance. It took all my throwables except for 2 pipes left over to defeat him. I got Em. and summon still alive. Thanks

I haven't used specters yet for boss fights, but I made it to phase 2 with some healing left and then just dodged to his left for every attack. I used the murderer's dagger for fast attacks, so effective. Only tricky attack was his berserk fiery one, but I was able to back off in time. Really enjoyed that fight!

I just was shocked at how well Lies of P actually is? I have not stopped playing since I downloaded it last week, I am at Arche Abbey wall now running a motivity build. Reminds me so much of Bloodborne but better fighting mechanics.
I know tho Ogles has helped me on multiple tricky bosses now in multiple games

I keep running out of throwables then getting absolutely obliterated by the second phase after getting him to about 10% health. Been on this for about 3 days now. However, I have been using the attract enemies stone on the summon and it’s gotten easier because it makes him completely ignore me
5 days for me bro. Having same issue, got him down to 1% and he hit me once lol
i wasted my throwables on the first phase lol (didn’t know there was a second phase). got romeo down to about half before dying. im definitely going to go farm and buy the maximum throwables and save them for romeo.
so went shopping and got about 10000 ergo worth of throwables. fought the first phase with just regular melee. as soon as second phase started i used the cube to heal the spector and then unloaded about 18 different items at him and melted that health away. finished him off with a exploding missile from my legion arm. he never stood a chance

I'm surprised throwables haven't been nerfed yet. They are...a bit strong.
I'm surprised as well, but they've balanced the game a few times now so they're choosing to let them stay at the level they are it seems.
just fought him in new game plus and absolutely destroyed the first phase with electric grindstone, fable arts on axure dragon crescent sword and the spector. took 11000 health away in like 15seconds. i died in the second phase once because i was careless and not watching my health. but second try i unloaded my throwable and used electric grindstone, healed my spector and got a stagger with the shotputs. one thing that saved me was using the amulet that allows you to continue dodging even when your stamina is drained. romeo has a crazy attack and drained my stamina and i was able to keep dodging and live. think that will come in handy when i fight nameless puppet again
Just wait by the door in the first phase. Then grind using electric. Then kill the first phase fast.
I was fighting this guy on a sliver of hp then I pulled off a fable art parry into a stagger to fatal attack finishing him off most legendary move i've pulled off.
A truly epic finish, lol
another thing you can do to help the cheese method, as soon as phase 2 starts, go back to the stargazer (so you have full health and cells) then summon the specter again and it starts off right at phase 2 again. Did this by accident when I wanted to heal my helper instead of going back. Downside, you use 2 fragments though.
Edited to add: by going back to the stargazer, you use the pocket watch. Don't know if this still works with the new update though so someone correct me if they patched it

Totally did not work for me. I threw everything I had at him and it barely took him down a quarter of his health. I know part of it is scaling, which I’m still not too clear on.
idk wat u did but not working at all for me, in stage 2 he non stop attacks me till im ded, summon doesnt even get a chance to take agro. tried this 10 times + same thing over and over, second phase he non stop pushes into me till im ded
You should be able to just run and dodge til he swaps over, or put the stone in the cube that forces agro on the summon instead of you. Hope this helps!
try keeping the summon between you and him, worked well for me.
There's a bit of bad advice in the guide, never dodge backwards in phase 2, you ALWAYS want to dodge to the left when he attacks. For the fire combo, run backwards, then dodge to the left when he does his lunge attack towards you.
I am at 50% to beat Romeo. King of puppets is easy to me, but Romeo is just a nightmare.
What level should you be before attempting this?
Just get throwables 6 of each and the aegis and the second phase is easy
First of all, it's not cheese because it's not cheating, considering that grenades are available as weapons and an option in the game. Second, personally, it's not easy for me; King of Puppets is easy for me, but Romeo is insanely fast. I can't weaken him enough; he only needs to hit me twice, and I'm done. I've been struggling with him for over 15 days. I think Korean game developers should take into account that not all of us have super-fast reflexes like a fifteen-year-old or Bruce Lee.

Everyone uses throwables to cheese bosses. The black market traders throwables are finite in my game for some reason and i cant get anything from him. Wtf is happening. Why is his stuff sold out ive been stuck on the second stage of this boss for weeks.

I can't beat him even with these tips. Doesn't work. This game is harder than any Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Elden Ring/Demons Souls
Sorry to hear you are still struggling! Maybe using the wishstones to keep you summon alive for longer will help?
