The only criticism I'd have of matches like this is that it's quite predictable that non-regular roster members will not win. The champions are always going to be the people who are around the most.

I used to run a local fed, it's just common sense to book this way. You can't put a belt on someone who you can't guarantee will make the events.
Yeah, of course. I get it. It just takes a little bit away from, say, Cody Rhodes v Joseph Conners. You just know Rhodes can't win.
