Richard , great recipe pal, I am Irish & my wife is German/Austrian so we are big eaters of cabbage or sauerkraut, the only thing I may add to this is diced taters in quarters, some good corn bread on the side. btw , I use 80/20 ground chuck in nearly everything , but we are getting some weird ratio's of ground chuck/beef 1:50 ?, here like 77/23 or 73/27 , etc... are you seeing that in grocers in Texas ? Just curious
@RICHARDINTHEKITCHEN yep , I agree, you lose a lot of meat, & 90/10 ground round has no flavor, not enough fat, I don't buy them, 80/20 works in everything
