My favorite video 'interpretation' of the poem, so beautifully matched! The whole thing is incredibly beautiful and powerful and flawless, love every second!!!❤
Wow thank you so much. This is such a nice comment! Illneas's version will always be the GOAT imo but I tried to do it a new light/way lol I appreciate your comment very much and I'm so glad you liked my interpretation. ❤ thanks again
The blue bird is a metaphor for melancholy. The disadvantage of missing the complete incorporation of the Other. Feeling the void and still considering a deep sense of unfilfillment 😢😢😢
The music is soft and quiet in the end part. Do you mean the middle part instead? Admittedly the music hits a peak at this part but this was for stylistic purposes to create a crescendo effect. But it falls soon after this. Also the part that is spoken in that part is just a repetition of the second stanza. How much of the video did you watch?
@@Southsayer. I think I watched it twice, and you are right it wasn't exectly at the end but somewhere like 3/4 of the video. Didn't mean to upset you by that comment
@Finnanese Dalmar lol you didn't upset me. I'll accept constructive criticism if I think it's fair. If you still think the music's too loud then fair enough I guess. It's loud for a little bit. But I reckon the narration is still audible mostly overall
@@Southsayer. Maybe it is a bit too loud around 1:40 and 2:00. I re-listened to it again now :), beautiful poem, I enjoyed Grantorrino also. I am from Europe, possibly for native speakers its easier to understand regardless the music.
I feel that too many humans spend too much of their life indulging in self-pity and egotistic ramblings in an ongoing attempt to both massage their fractured ego and a continual yearning to be centre stage of their lives... rather than simply living in a state of awareness of the world around them solid in the knowledge that they are simply observers. If I'm perceived as "wrong" then I have no interest in those perceptions as that is none of my business. Those perceptions were not nurtured in my natural mother's womb and my final resting in Mother Earth's tomb. My personal conclusion on the cause of most of the malaises inherent in the "human condition" is the endemic self indulgence devoid of balanced observation.
Read with a lack of feeling for tempo and cadence? I literally sped the rhythm of the poem's narration up to MATCH the tempo of the song. This poem has been done a million times on RUclips and I tried to give it a unique interpretation. To portray it in a unique light. I spent a month making this and I don't think your comment is grounded in fact.
@@brianb1733 Thank you very much, Brian! I worked very hard on this video and tried to reinterpret the poem in a new light. So to put it out and have the only comment tell me it was garbage was very disappointing. I even contemplated taking it down but my gut told me to stand by it. I'm really glad you enjoyed my interpretation. Thanks again!
This is honestly one of my favorite poems
One of my favourites, too.
Very nice Bukowski uploads. Well done.
thank you very much! I have a new Bukowski cinematic poem that will drop very soon. Stay tuned!
I do weep
Teared up on this one love the film and the poet. Very well done👏👏👏
Thank you Terry. It's a great film and a great poem.

This was amazing. Great work! I'm not weeping... I promise.
Ah bless you, man. I'm so glad you liked it. Thanks for the feedback :)
Powerful piece!
Cheers...
Oh wow. That was superb. That hit hard. Applause.
Thank you very much, Geoff. I appreciate that alot.
It ia a perfect metaphor for emotions, as emotions, like bluebird are pure, beautiful and long for freedom and liberation. Thanks for sharing.
I agree Nil. It's a great metaphor. Bukowski at his best. Thanks for commenting!
wow!!!
I am sorry but by the end music is so loud I couldn't understand the words :(

That sounds more like the philosophy of a robot than a human, honestly.
It's your perspective though, I guess.
But how does it relate to this video?
Nah, man terrible shit can actually happen to you
That was read with such lack of feeling for tempo or cadence and the music drowned out the words. Seriously, needs more work
