Mabey make the shell entirely from relic material and give it a pattern while giving a wave like animation at the underside when its moving. Also snails have teeth on their tongue so mabey you can do something creative with that like a chainsaw tongue.

The only thing that kills me is that he pourposely makes himself weaker by not even using some of the units that he has on, it just why even bother putting them in if he never even uses them more then Once or even at all.
