How strange that I knew all the words of this song......must have heard it endlessly on the 'wireless' or the gramophone as a young child. It did not mean much to me at that time or since....THEN - this amazing version by Matt Mardini! Memories came flooding back and I found Matt's performance very beautiful and very emotional. Really nice touch to post the lyrics as well ( though Matt's words very clear anyway!).....and I knew them!!!! More of the same, please .
