This is one of my favorite movies mainly because of Frank Sinatra and Grace Kelly but I love LouIs Armstrong “Satchmo” in this one too! This movie is a remake of The Philadelphia Story starring Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, and Jimmy Stewart! I like both movies! High Society is the same story just set to jazz music! ❤️❤️

Gunhild Carling's jazz performances for PMJ are especially worth looking up.

The song "Road to Rhode Island" is a parody of the theme song from the movie "Road to Morocco" which starred Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, and Dorothy Lamour.
