Three Rivers Rambler: Smoke Over Knoxville

Three Rivers Rambler first fall excursion of the year! They departed from their new depot at University Commons giving many more photo opportunities. Enjoy 203 as she climbs her way from downtown Knoxville to the Forks of the River!

Well, just so happens that I rode the N&W 611 excursion to Radford this weekend and sitting across from me in the dome car was a wonderful young man (Peyton) student at UT and fireman for one the locomotives at the Three Rivers Rambler. He was most knowledgeable about the likely workings of the 611 as we traveled through the VA countryside. Wonderful experience, thanks Peyton.
