I was surprised you didn't start off with or even mention the biggest tell is the color of the actual perfume. The fake is obviously much darker. I myself have fallen victim to faux J'adore. Thanks for pointing out all the other differences. I discovered all the same with my purchases. Fortunately I too received a full refund.

Hi I just bought a bottle on Sephora website and the bottle looks genuine. Yet the golden logo misses on the packaging and it looks like the juice has been watered down because the smell doesn’t last at all 😢😢😢
2 additional things...the bottle of the bottle where the clear label is-on the fake one the bottle has a recessed circle. And, the spray tube is too long and bent excessively. I also notice on a fake bottle before I purchased, is the box. Look at the ingredients, at the bottom it read ‘BULE 1’ instead of ‘BLUE 1’! The box itself is not as well made either. The cardboard was not as thick and did not have the gold trim at the top and bottom of the box AND the plastic wrap was not a tight snug fit but loose. I found even more tell tale signs but this is just to name a few. Buyer beware!

It appears to be the genuine one. If only I had watched your video first, I could have saved myself a fright, when I first attempted to open the bottle. I didn't know it came off half the way down, so I was trying to open the rounded top part while holding the bottle just below. To my horror, the bottle dropped onto my concrete floor. Thankfully, it just bounced and wasn't damaged at all. Perhaps that's another test worth trying... with the fake one, obviously... or the genuine one when empty. Æ 🙏
Hi I got a fake from eBay and the seller is refusing it is a fake And keeps saying it’s not fake and I am wrong. I didn’t even bother spraying it as the bottle has no writing on it either on the bottle side saying jadore or on the bottom there was nothing at all The lid inside was cheap and tacky

The real bottle must be without the name of the perfume. You can clearly see that the fake bottle has the name J'adore on it. So this is the easiest way to recognize a fake.
Im intrested to see if Macys is genuine and the real thing. A lot of places sell this like Walgreen. But u cant see the bottle because of its wrapping. I will check out the tester and look for these signs. Thank u so much. I want this perfume so badddddd
If you can get a small amount out of the bottle into a clear shot glass and then add just a little water, it should remain clear if it is original but will go milky if high in alcohol.

I got a fake one but I knew what I was buying it was 29 for 3.3 ounces. How anyone in their right mind could believe if you're spending that, that you're getting the real deal is beyond me. I get compliments on my perfume all the time. People says it's beautiful. It's hard to tell a smell on others. It's very individual. Even j adore the original smells diffrent on diffrent people. So it's a difficult thing to gauge. My bottle is pretty but not perfect.. But neither am I. My scent may not smell exactly like the real thing, but on me, it may not either (the original scent I mean ) I've had some people say, are you wearing J adore? So the fake one did darn good. It lasts about four hours until I feel I need another spray, but that's OK, I don't need the scent to last ten hours to feel complete or pretty. I'm OK with it. I'm not OK spending all that money for the real thing. I personally feel amazing enough as a human being, as a beautiful woman because I am, as a mom, an employee and a friend, that I don't need too. To feel really good about myself. Shrug Just don't need it. Oh my clothes smell amazing too. My jackets keep this beautiful scent in the closest for days. So, that's all.. Just a different perspective. Visited here to see the real bottle. Thanks for the upload. If you think like I do and want a gorgeous inexpensive lilac pacifica smells exactly like lilac path by estee Lauder. It's gorgeous.

I'm not pretty sure I have the real one... It is supposed to be a tester but... It smells as well as the real one but the whole packaging doesn't convince me at all. What about the perfume name printed on onto the bottle?
I'm at a loss for words. How wonderful is the lack of understanding when this is relevant to your existence. Don't get me wrong I'm not saving the planet anytime soon but... to be so confused with the idea of ones own identity that even the authenticity of the odor that lingers in your wake takes on its own importance is truly baffling. Keep it simple, were not body, we aren't even the mind. This body is a collection of food that you've put together over a lifetime. Filth is dirt that you can not eat but put a seen in it and that same dirt becomes food. When you eat the food it becomes you. Your body is a loan from the earth that you have to give back.. spend time making the thing between the body and the mind as pleasant as your store bought fragrances and you may get somewhere. The money you spend on not smelling like a pile of dung was traded for time at a job you probably hate, its not time ticking away when you're at work its your life that is ticking away. Would you trade any part of your life for an over priced bottle of dont smell like shit?

Mi bottle has all the characteristics of an original one, but the smell... it smels like alcohol. they did a great job with the bottle.
