So here’s the tea on the few methods that I use for all my vocals, whether its megan, nicki, doja or etc. If there is no studio acapella uploaded on yt or the internet, I will utilize an ai source separation tool known as gaudio. its online and its free (at least for now so use it while you can). For the cleanest result i will find the official instrumental and phase invert it with a 320kbps mp3 of the song i want vocals from. I will try and phase very precisely. Whether there’s little to a lot of artifacts, I will put that filter in gaudio because it separates the artifacts cleanly. often times i will also do the same for the drum track of the song, which is why you can hear original recordings of the drums in my mashups because i will add em in too. on rare occasion i will try Demucs which is installed on my computer to separate stems. For Doja’s Get Into It Yuh, I separated the vocals from the apple stems, the ones where its like extra sound channels and stuff. there’s public downloads for those stems i believe. Sometimes I will just track down stems and just use those. The best way would be the method involving both gaudio and phase inversion. Thot Shit came out the cleanest that way. its cleaner than any source you’ll hear on RUclips.

I'm a total rookie so it took me like 2 hours to comprehend wtf u were saying LMAO but everything ive learned is so much better than anything ive tried before I really like gaudio; it was so fast and comparable to Demucs (which was really slow for some reason but maybe because I used the online version) Some lesser known songs I want don't have a purely instrumental verison so i didn't try phase inverting but ig for those gaudio is good enough Anyway, tysm again and im so excited to experiment to see what i can do now >:DDD
