Mmm, cornmeal in cookies! I love that sweet crunch of cornmeal. Fennel is quite an interesting and intriguing ingredient!

I tried a cornmeal cookie at a bakery in Seattle years ago - went back and the head baker had quit and took her recipe with her. Her right, but man I miss those cookies! Thanks for what seems like a similar recipe - I can't wait to try this.

I wonder if these are chrispy cookies? Not chewy right? With just white sugar I assume chrispy? She didn't try them or break them apart for us to see.

I agree. Why don't they try the food and describe it.

Fennel is gross. Anything else to use instead?

Such an interesting combination of flavours! Never thought about cornmeal in a cookie, but now I want to try!
(Also that mixer moves around so much while you've got it on... scares me a little...)

Fennel in a cookie.. very interesting.
Also there's no way my house could get 3 dozen cookies in three days, I'm going to have to halve this recipe.

I'm sorry to say it, but your tone of voice sounds so indifferent and uninspiring. Get a voice coach.

saleha250 right. You're obviously one of those people who think everything should only be applauded. Never give any feedback that doesn't praise.

so true, it was a bit annoying hearing her voice. not trying toe be rude

saleha250 If you're the presenter of a show like this, your job is to sound like you want to be there. She's doing this video for OUR enjoyment, and that's the truth.

    • @Run.Ran.Run1

In all fairness, I've continued to watch the videos and I do get a better sense of the presenter's engagement with the viewer and the food itself in later videos.
