  • A new report from the American Cancer Society finds more cases of colorectal cancer are being detected at advanced stages, and rates are increasing among younger people. CBS News' Michael George introduces us to a patient who learned she had stage 4 colon cancer at just 44 years old.

More to do with increase meat and salt consumption.
Which have increased at the same rate as cancer.
if you consume more than 500 - 700 g of red meat a week you increase your cancer risks.
Many people these days will hit these rates in 1 - 3 days.
Same with salt, too much of it and cancer risks also increase.

Hi, I just got back from a colonoscopy and endoscopy. The results were completely normal. I have had blood in my rectum, unexplained anemia, severe stomach pain, constipation and based on all my Google findings, diagnosed myself with advance colon cancer. They found Nothing, not even a benign polyp. I wanted to share this because I couldn’t find enough of these types of posts when I was looking for answers myself. Sometimes the research we do drives us completely bonkers, wasting hours and days and even weeks assuming the absolute worst! There are soooo many other explanations for symptoms than the worst case scenarios & statistically, it is more likely NOT to have cancer than to have it🙌🏼 Unfortunately, I know this is NOT everyone’s experience and people are diagnosed everyday and have to walk the hard battle out but I wanted to be a voice of hope in the self diagnosis process.

The carrying of cell phones in the back pocket of your jeans or slacks has been shown as a reason for the increasing colorectal cancer rates among younger men in recent studies. Phones should be kept at a distance of at least 3" to 6" from your body. If that's not possible, carry it in a belt holster or a (side leg pocket) of cargo pants to keep it at some distance away from you. These studies also show that the cell phone manufacturer rf safety information provided by many (or most) brands is inaccurate and overstated. Prayers 🙏

Before conspiracy theorists dirt the comments section, let me share my 2 cents on this. My mother was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer in 2020, and unfortunately, she recently passed away (at age 58). Unlike the "intelligent" comments suggest, she wasn't jabbed or a coffee consumer. While it is hard to isolate the real reasons, I assume stress and consumption of easy carbs (sugars, etc.) may be factors. In addition, her BMI was normal and has never smoked in her life. I wish the best of luck to this young lady in this news section; as she is younger, I assume/hope/pray her body would fight and beat this disease.
Important edit: Screening for colon cancer starting from age 40 should be covered by insurance companies! Early detection saves lives and considerably reduces treatment costs and &options. Thus, early screening is a win for everyone.
