Orlando Florida - Islands of Adventure & California Grill Day 9

Welcome to our 9th day of the trip where we visited Islands of Adventure!🥳♥️ A much busier day at Universal compared to last weeks vlog!!
We head straight to "Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure" which is located in "Hogsmeade" as its a very popular attraction🎢😍🧙🏼‍♂️, we waited around an hour but the wait time was showing at 90 minutes, so be prepared to wait if you want to ride it⏳ But 10000% worth the wait!😍🫶🏻
Dan bottles "Velocicoaster" as soon as he see's it in person, this was also pitching at a 75 minute wait, another popular attraction😱
We experienced a few mishaps during our time here at Islands of Adventure and our frustration grew throughout the day🥲 We wasn't going to share our footage as we didn't want to come across as negative, but we believe that "vlogging" is a chance to give a true reflection of our experience and to help you guys truly understand not only the good times but the bad times too!! And to try and help you guys eliminate those frustrations that we felt when coming out here yourselves😫
After a 2 hour window of struggling to get things done, we pushed our frustrations aside, rode Hulk and Spider-man which we loved😍🕷️🎢 Then we headed off to Hogsmeade for a butterbeer!😋 We really enjoyed our time in Hogsmeade!⚡️🪄 We then headed back to our resort for a quick shower before heading off to California Grill for our dining reservation where we got to watch Happily Ever After from the balcony at the Contemporary Resort!🥩🎆💖

I know I'm like over a year late, and I am literally 7 mins in but yes... Not imagining it... Customer service outside of the Disney bubble is verrrry different.
Studios we got left in a backstage area alone under Rip Ride because the staff member - likely just having a bad day - ushered us in there and pointed before stomping off and it wasn't until another person came out that we were like We're a bit lost sorry... Yeah turned out we needed to go in a lift (disabled access we were told by front desk we couldn't have 🤷‍♀️) 😂 Once I clicked it stopped bothering me but the difference in nature is huge at first. When we went I worked in front-facing customer service as well so was a bit of a culture shock. Now I just laugh about it 😂 x

I'm glad it's not just us that feels that way 😅
We go back to Orlando because of Disney, so it feels very strange when we are not there.. we are returning to Universal next year, and hopefully, we will have a better experience 👌🥰
