Thanks! Always nice to have a visual, heads-up before you go in for assembly!

Thanks for this tutorial I have a dso which I use to debug projects, but I wanted a scope that I can use in my euro rack. My budget does not run to the Data scope - I'm cheap! This solves the problem.
My only concern about this video is the practice of soldering the jumpers from the top. It runs the risk of shorts by leaving exposed wires above the board. Possibly better to solder them on the reverse side -even squishing the insulation by pushing on the wire so that it mushrooms to form strain relief. Thanks for your engaging and informative chanel.

Ah thanks, for the heads up that the expander doesn’t work. I was wondering whether I was going with the right option by building a DSO 138 mini Eurorack conversion. That one just seemed like the easiest to build of all the different DSO kits out there. Still waiting for the final panel, but I already have it working with a 3D printed panel for now!

I don't think there's a build video of it.. would be interested to compare!

PS sometimes we don't like things easy, we like 'em fun ;)

I had the camera running while building it, so I can definitely make a build video once the panel arrives!
And you’re right, easy isn’t always what we want 😂 I like to have some variety and don’t always feel like messing with tiny SMD stuff!

Any chance of sharing your mouser cart for this one? Cheers for the useful vid!

We've thought about this, but don't do it for two reasons: 1) we often buy with friends and from many suppliers, 2) due to the chip crisis parts are constantly being substituted, so many of the parts of a cart might not be available anymore. Sorry :(
