Great video! It’s great that your showing that you don’t need much to make something just as beautiful as if you had all the tools in the word. Your card is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing
Mary, thank you for trying different inks with the layering stamps so we can have an idea of how each will work. Makes it easier to make choices and save $$$.
beautiful card, and, as always, great advice, I think we all need reminders to just play and have fun sometimes, and you are awesome @ being that reminder!, thanks for that, and great use od stickles!. when I started,I kept hearing how wonderful they are, so I bought them all, a couple at a time, but never use them for much, aside from adding a dot or two here and there, and waiting a week, or so for them to dry, so I've not been thrilled w/them, but they gave a great look to your sentiment!, I will have to try that!
Thank you for the sweet words! I need to remind myself of that too that's why I remind you all. lol I do love my stickles but only have the gold, silver, diamond. Try using your stickles as accent pieces for example, if you have an evergreen tree and green stickles, use it as a highlight. It adds such a nice touch. Don't know if that helps! :)
I never thought of stamping off on my layering stamps like you showed - thank you so much for this GREAT idea! It's funny, I have stamped off before when I wanted to make trees disappear in the background but never thought of using it this way, it's funny how we use ideas but don't step out of our box sometimes. Need to step out of my box more often.
Oh thank you so much for sharing this with me Lyn! I really appreciate that! I have that same challenge myself so sometimes I just sit with my stuff and think of alternative ways to use them. :)
This is so pretty! I need to give this a try. I don’t use my layering stamps enough. You’re making me want to try CP inks but I don’t have room for anymore ink storage. 😩 Everyone on RUclips seems to be raving about them and I love the colors, though, so I may have to get some anyway.
Christy I got rid of 40 Stampin Up ink pads and replaced with the CP inks. Ut I dont have a full set of anything else. Dont fee pressure to get them if you have what you need. Maybe you can grab up one and see what all the hype is about. Also she sells them in mini form
Great video Mary! Glad you test out all these techniques and share them with us. You think of many things to try and when we sit down to create we can say oh yeah Mary showed us how to make it work with less and it is still beautiful. Sometimes I forget to get out inks because so many times we are coloring! I like your leaves without the outline also! Pretty accent with the gold stickles!! Have a great weekend!! Sept 1 is just around the corner!!!!!!
Thank you so much for that! I really did have a great time stretching my supplies for sure! Also it was just downright faster! lol YAY 1 Sep.....so close!
ohhh, instructions? what are those? who needs instructions? thanks for doing this video.... glad to know that the oxides were too blotchy to do it with them. I may end up investing in some CP inks soon, I wish she had more of the smaller ink pads, but oh well. tfs oxoxox
I know....I was pulling a "my husband" when I was winging it! HAHAH I am sure she will come out with more smaller ones just a matter of time. I do love them a lot! But I you don't need all of them; maybe just start with a few of your favorite colors!

Thank you so much; I realized after that I missed a step in these flowers but it was still neat to see what I got from them.
I love how honest you are about the instructions 😂. We have all been there for sure! I love the layers. Very, very nice! That’s a great stencil! Wow!
Thank you so much! When I actually followed them my flower started to come to life! lol

@@marypolancodesigns all the colors, gimme all of the colors!!!! LOL
There are generally only 2 types of glue that will cope with glitter card. Silicone glue and hot glue. Most of the time you are better off with tape!
Thank you!!! Its a tricky situation that glitter. Lol
