- Do other monofins work in a Mertailor guppy tail? Let's find out. I am trying out my Finis Luna, Triton, and Mahina Merfins in a mertailor guppy tail skin to try them out.

The Luna looks very natural in that skin. I still love my Linden best of all my monofins.
I just got my tail (the Sea Gem) literally because of this (and the swimming) video! Just came in and the large literally fits me perfectly. Don't be afraid to try this my fellow curvy ladies!

Thank you! I have a Fin Fun skin over my Luna monofin, and it mostly works. However, I've had my eye on Mertailors products. It's great to know they work! I didn't really have the space to store a new monofin.

Hi, thank you for all your videos. I keep watching reviews as I am looking for my first monofin. I absolutely love the design of mertailor fanteasea 1 and 3 but I am afraid about propulsion. And I am not sure fantasea 3 is good for a beginner. So, what I am thinking is taking fantasea 1 and Mermaid Linden monofin for propulsion. And then I was wondering if Linden monofin would fit in guppy tail. Could you please try?
The guppy tails are made for the Linden monofin, and also fit the finis luna very well

Audrey B. The fantasea fin does not fit in a guppy tail. The fantasea fins are a very different shape and quite a bit wider so the ends roll and fold inside the guppy skin. However, mertailor has the fantasea tail line (different from the whimsy tails) witch are made of the same spandex as the guppy tails, but made for the fantasea fin
Do you know if the Luna monofin happens to fit in any of the Mertailor whimsy tails?
I have the luna is too long and much more narrow, so you get a lot of wrinkles and warping
Can you try the fin fun monofin in that tail? I'm pretty sure it would fit but I don't think it would fill it out well enough.
Do you know if the original mertailor fantasea fin will fit ?
It will not the shape is quite different, however mertailor’s fantasea tail like is also spandex and is made for the fantasea fin
Would the luna fin also work for the Fantasea Tail ??
No, the luna is much narrower and longer than the Fantasea
Has anyone tried the finis aquarius in a guppy tail?
If you saw my previous statement I assumed you meant the kids guppy tails for the kids size linden, the Aquarius will not fit those. I did not have an Aquarius to show in the video at the time. The Aquarius CAN fit the adult size guppy tails, but the skin may need modifications to look and swim nicely. The Aquarius is 3-4” shorter than the adult linden in some places which leads to baggy draggy fluke tips and middle. You would need to resew the fluke to fit the different shape. OR see if you can get a mertailor Eco tail second hand (mertailor no longer makes them) which are made for the Aquarius
You should also round the edges of your Aquarius with sand paper or otherwise pad them so they do not stab a hole in the fabric
