At 56 I'm trying to learn what I can on my own as I can't afford lessons. So, I really appreciate what you're doing!
This video is absolutely great propably the only one out there that can help you learn the original song and learn it fast without having to guess what he is playing on the piano because you dont know a c minor or just because he is doing it super fast .so this is a 18 min video showing how to play a 4 minute song on the piano in 3 variations like wtf are you talking about plz give this man more views PLZ.

Probably down to the relative lack of people picking up the piano nowadays. 15 odd years ago piano lessons where a thing. I literally can't find a piano teacher within 30 miles of me. Infuriating because it is undoubtedly the most the most rewarding instrument to learn.
I couldn’t afford piano lessons so I bought myself a cheap little Casio to start with. Eventually my interest and pay grew to the point that I could afford piano lessons but couldn’t find a teacher near me, so I continued to teach myself. Finally, I decided to take a piano class at night with my local college. The instructor said I had a lot of talent but refused to accept me because I had already established too many Bad Habits on the piano and it would be too much for her to correct me. So, back to the beginning and with my bad habits. However, your instruction provides a great foundation for correcting my flaws with easy understandable technique. I’m excited to continue playing. Thank you for your time and instructional videos!

I like the slower step by step progression during which it is clear what chords (at the top) and what inversions you make (scroll lines). You then repeat it 2x more allowing us to catch up on a couple points we missed the 1st time. Most piano videos go too fast and you can't see what keys you pressing / chords you are making. Great job! Many thumbs up!

This is a good lesson with variations and different ways to play the song. Love that.
You explained chords quite well. But I find it hard to flow when the chords were taught without the singing melody to match. I have to review it multiple times to be more sure about it.
Also the graphic for the chords are not always the ones you taught to play, but rather inversions of the chords. This can be quite confusing for someone who do not have solid enough chord knowledge. However for others, it shows how you can be flexible on playing the same chords with inversions to make the play easier. So it is good and bad depends on who the learner is.
One other confusion I have is:
The instruction at 7'58“ is for "Speaking words of wisdom let it be" with chords C/G, G, F, C, right?
Then for the same at 14'06“, the instruction has different chords F, C/E, Dm7, C. Is this alternative way to play for the same? You didn't say, but only explained the chords there.
I wish the sheet music with chords and the verses marked is available. Learning how to play the song is just one part, practicing it to play well really needs the sheet music because you can't play and stop play the video to practice it, right?

Great lesson. Does the top line change as you play? @11:50 you "play the whole intro" but the line with the chord names does not go back to the beginning and then change to the second set of chords. It would help if you blank the screen momentarily to call attention to the change.
