Amazing car, i preffer thus 4cyl than the new C63 AMG (and im a AMG lover). Bmw put a 4cyl in a hatch and not in her super saloon flag ship like the idiots of amg

I'm wondering about something about instantaneous fuel consumption. In this video, while the speed of car increase, the instant fuel consumption is decreasing step by step. This situation can be expected because the car overcomes inertia but at the same time, the friction of air increases step by step. The friction of air increases but the instant fuel consumption is decreasing contuniously. Can anybody express this situation?
When the engine produces its maximum power or in other words, where its using maximum fuel flow, the fuel used per hour will not increase anymore. But the speed still increases, which means the l/100km value decreases. This is also why you have always high fuel consumption when cruising around in lower gears like 1st or 2nd, because your velocity is so low that when you calculate the l/100km the results gets very high.
Firstly, thanks for the reply. In other words, can we say that when the car launches, it needs to more power for starting moving so it needs to higher fuel flow and after starting moving, when the car reaches maximum power, the fuel flow decreases because of no need to extra energy? Also the car overcomes the inertia after first moving.
@@cemakkus9175 It's simple math. Let's say the car drives 1.000 km/h. In this case the fuel consumption would be something like 3 l/100km, just because you are so fast relatively to the fuel the engine consumes. Fuel flow does not increase anymore at some point, but the speed does, so the fuel consumption value goes lower.
B48 it's trash. 1 second faster 150-250 than my a4 b9 2.0tfsi quattro 252 with 300 euro ecu and tcu tune and 180k km. no way this bmw it's 360 more like 320.
Older 140i hatch >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> (always and 4ever)
yeah, although this has a super good b48.
ofc bro.....👍
I won't trade my M140i 6 speed manual for this M135i

That is actually rapid. Gearshifts are instant as well
Damn BMWs have gotten nice these days

The Top speed is more important than the horsepower & especially the quarter & half mile
BMW ONLY 6 cylindres 🙈👌
There is no way in hell, Imma buy a 2.0 i4 disguised as an 135i
Get with the times gramps, your days are loooong over.

273 kph or 169.5 mph is impressive for a car under 400hp
uhm..?
This is even reachable with a car under 300hp
Normal
For 250 km/h you need 220-240hp ca
120i with 178hp goes 235km/h GPS.
With 360hp same car should do (calculated) ca 297 km/h
@@Errost5which car?
@@Errost5 show us a car who does it with 300hp and 275 GPS, we're waiting

Can you film outside sound
Mods?
I'd buy this just as a normal car not a performance car or a hot hatch
I didn’t know you only needed 360hp to reach hyperhatch territory (>280)
Ca 320hp I’d say are needed for 280 km/h GPs ( ca 290-295 km/h VAG speedometer)
Im board of straight 6 engines anyway

Like this should be stock...
284 kph, it can 300 kph probably... ;-)
M140 with stock 340-350hp is doing ca 275-280 km/h GPS ( = ca 290 km/h speedometer)
