i’ve seen dave live atleast 20 times. one of those times i missed the whole thing for going to hard too. still kicking myself. just something about that band.
After welcoming Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Trombone Shorty, and more on the band’s first of two nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Friday, Dave Matthews Band brought out special guest Cory Wong to sit in on a string of tunes during the band’s fall tour closer on Saturday. Coming out of Led Zeppelin‘s “Fool in the Rain”, DMB welcomed Wong to the stage for fan favorite “Tripping Billies” following guest appearances by Trombone Shorty and Mark Whitfield earlier in the set. The funk phenom stuck around for an additional four songs, “So Much to Say”, “Anyone Seen the Bridge”, “Too Much”, and the grand finale, “Ants Marching”, which featured both Wong and Trombone Shorty. Amazing - Was at show - The way you captured the horns during Ants and then panning back to Carter and Stefan trying to sort out how to reel the whole thing back in was magic - If you don't feel something watching that magic, you may need some real help!

They ended it by channeling Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin so the abrupt ending actually made sense after seeing it (as that's how Immigrant Song ends).

what phone/equipment is this? deep zoom and very stable nicely done
I think Marcus is doing a multi cam. Hopefully you guys are involved if he does.
Does anyone know the guitarist on the solo of Trippin Billies?
Cory Wong
So, this is cool and all, but you have ads in here…so technically you are profiting from this correct ?
What would Dave think ?
