I miss the Old Score Board. I'd race to get to 100 so I could spend the rest of the season and care about dailies at all. Now, i find myself having dailies as part of my routine. Lame.
I don't think either system is particularly good, but I definitely preferred when I could finish in a month and move on. I want a reason to keep coming back, not never leave...
@@Xzigma no thats not it this season was shorter than the others trying to push the expansion update, and not everyone has time to get on everyday after rank 100
@@carguy984 It absolutely was shorter. I don’t have 1st so I always have to seriously grind this game. I play every day, I do every daily and weekly, and I still only made it to rank 140 last season. THIS!!! A grind to get the ever elusive perk coins, by grinding. 🤨 somewhere lost is actually playing the game. But I’ve wasted to much time here …back to the grind.
Aren’t the perk coins a one time purchase, non repeatable? I believe I heard that it was, which really sucks, because everything lease can be gotten for bullion or other means in game, and the Atoms at 10 levels per 100 atoms is hardly a worthwhile value… I’m at 143 with 1400 scoreboard points saved up (the white brown armor paints are fugly) and don’t really know what I will spend points on after the perk coins.
When they tell us their revamping a system to make it better for players just means more work for less rewards ie old system was 100 ranks for 130 items now it’s 150 ranks for 90 items
yup. found myself skipping dailies/weeklies more often this time. it's not worth the grind. i'll be going all in on atoms and see how much i get at the end of the season and decide if i should let fo1st expire after hitting 100 on the next season. also, i am really sick and tired of being required to kill 10 event scorched as a daily. you can't even reroll that. the horrible part is being on a public server means there will definitely be someone actively hunting them down. creates a situation where fo1st players have an unfair advantage since they have the ability to hop on a private server and kill 10 event scorched without competition.
@@atleastimtrying5391 Aldo 1First I dont have a PTS and even I have had PTS Im tired of chasing them all over the map. So I do all the dailes and leave 10 scorched. Except when I can rank up.
It's an advantage, but it's not 'unfair'. It's available to everyone equally, and since it has to be paid for it's not something for nothing. Since the paid players are paying for all the rest of us to even have a game I'd say it's as fair as it gets.
I'm not even sure a private server would work... half the time it has the stipulation you need to be on a team with other players (it might work being alone on a team, haven't tried it)
When I reach 100 I stop dailies.... been playing the game since the beginning and it's getting old. The new map expansion was done in 2 days now back to normal 😅
This is what happens when you take the Red Pill. You now see what's really going on. Personally I play without looking at scoreboard much. I pop in once in a while and click the few worthless items. Not much to see there. 😜
Last season I quit shortly after 100. I am trying to hit 150 this time around just because I have never done it before. The problem is that it is starting to feel more like work instead of a game to enjoy. The long expanse of levels with no rewards along the way coupled with rather humdrum rewards at the end of the road has me really thinking hard about saving a few dollars each month and shutting off my 1st sub at least until the next season.
In the old scoreboards, it always gave you at least one reward per rank. Even though most of them where fillers and not really great to get, but at least every rank gave me a little bit of serotonin, and getting to rank 100 was a dopamine rush of rewards
A few things need fixed/changed. Cap limit needs to stay at the 40k. Yes if it was higher great. But if it goes higher then items in people's shops will be more. So keep the cap. Shops we should get more when selling and items should be a little less. This will also help player vendors not be to expensive. Also if we buy show all the caps. And let us sell more items because caps are available. Gold and script need to be at a higher cap for trade in. A avg player like I am sometimes maybe does 300script and like 150gold. But when I am grinding I literally have to stop playing I reach the gold cap, script and vender money will be a zero. My stash will be full and all I can do is play on another character to be able to play. Speaking of our other characters. Also a mailbox for us to store our own items into and when we switch characters we can grab the items from the mailbox.
Relatively new player here! I am almost at score level 100. Only done dailies and weeklies for the exp. Aside from some okay-ish rewards from the list, most are just some low-effort ugly power armor and armor paints. On top of that, non-Fallout 1st members have some very minimal options to spend their tickets on.
Been playing off and on since the beginning and I’ve found it distracting to the point of not actually playing/finishing the game. Now, more than likely, I’m just chasing ‘that thing or that weapon’. Looking back I realized I hadn’t even finished most of the main quest other than getting the Stealth Suit. I love the game, but ….
I didn't, but started to play so I could run around with my kid... suddenly challenges were the only thing I was doing in the game and I stopped playing the game itself. Its like a grocery list game within the game
I have the same dilemma. I am a new player that has a lot of content to get through...most of my time however is spend on doing dailies and trying to participate in "must do events". It is hard to draw a line between what to do and what not to do when one is so new to the game. I don't want to miss out on events/ dailies that can help improve my account, but at this rate, I will just have to focus on story otherwise I will never get through it.
This will be my first time hitting rank 150 as only started playing FO76 in April so all my remaining tickets will be spent on perk coins to max legendary perk cards and at level 275 so nearing the final legendary perk slot
I detest this new grind book. I only wanted the oven at the end but didnt like it in my camp after placing it anyway. Now i am working on hitting 150 before this pain ends. 132 currently. The Perk coins are the valuable thing at 150 until i top off all of the ones I dont use. Then what.
Uh, as someone who does not have FO1st, I can promise you that lots of season items are still locked behind fallout 1st... I'm guessing they just aren't telling you how much of a bonus you're getting. Also, I think that's part of what you're missing with a lot of the grind. It's there to convince people that they want the things they'd get with FO1st or can get if they just paid for more Atoms. It's only "free" (with grind) at all to make you want what you could easily have if you give them more actual money, but they make it hard so that shelling out that money becomes preferable.
I miss the old scoreboard. That being said I do like the ability to pick and choose what I get. The second bonus page is just ticket sink. The cost of the stuff on there is more than on the rest of the pages.
Preying on completionists. Fortunately for me, I only care for stuff that I like the way they look. Unfortunately for Bethesda, most of the shit this season looks like shit. Also I hate camping builds.
Atoms are the only thing there for me. Because modules are a bust. You buy loads and still won't get the roll you after and the rest are worthless to me
Your thoughts are SPOT ON. A friend and i was talking about the same topic yesterday with same conclusions as you. Btw. we also bought a TON of S. Boosters from prev. Scoreboard 😁😁
Without 1st there is no way to earn enough atoms to even unlock the 1st items on the new season. I used to earn enough atoms to buy at least one new bundle from the atom shop per season. Now I have to do 2 full seasons just to get enough to unlock one seasons 1st rewards. And if I spend them on that, then nothing left for the atom shop. I get that they want to make money, I have even bought a month of 1st in the past when they had something really good on the scoreboard, but this type of grind is ridiculous. I’m seriously just burnt out. It’s a chore now, taking time away from other games I actually enjoy playing.
The second a video game company decides to get greedy is when their game stsrts to plummit due to terribly designed ideas. Don't fix something that's not already broken beth.
Same. I got what I wanted off the system, (I didn't bother with any of the icons or armour skins) and haven't looked at Dailies since. There is nothing at level 150 that makes the grind remotely worth it
For me, weekly and dailies come in handy when I’m bored and having nothing else to but want to play fallout, UNTIL I’m tier 100. After that I just don’t care and then they become pointless
That EA monetisation director they hired is turning the game into a shitfest. He's proud of the new season format too. It's only going to get worse with the game becoming grindier and WANTS players to spend money on Fallout 1st.
Trinkets. Nothing worth grinding for. One season the log cabin build kit was the reward at lvl 100. Now you can buy it with atoms. WTF??? Absolutely nothing worth it this season.
I stopped caring after getting the prefab. There's nothing else I want, and I cannot be bothered to grind to lvl 150 just to grind for atoms. I'll just wait for the next season to start.
Yeah, it's becoming clear that people just pick an item they want and just stop bothering after that. The new system actually encourages people to stop before they finish the season.
@@SequentialGamerFallout we’ve probably already passed that point I would not be shocked in the slightest if level 100 right now cannot get the level 150 with the remaining time
trying to get to 150 to buy some atoms, can confirm, not worth it, I had like about level 120 when buying actual rewards (also needed to unlock 150 page anyway so no, no saving tickets if I dont want to leaveč out nactual items I amy never get access to again, I left out some currency pack or something garbage as that), so leaving like roughly 30 levels I can spend on atoms if I unlock that page even (which can have all effort be useless if I will be on 149 level when season ends for some reason, what I know I havent seen exact end date only guesses of community), with this generous guess I MAY have 300 atoms for getting on daily for at least hour to do dailies (especially with christmass scorched un-re-rollable one, it sucks as hell at unlucky days, those are also bugged so not all kills count even), every day, and I did even used booster twice, once even on weeklies reset to do 2 full sets of weekly challenges, and before I got to level 100, I was doing also XP grinds but I have no stupid "OP bloodied XP build that is necessity for anything" so it was basically slow waste of time, not having 100 levels in two hours as all those grind youtubers just have, I think originally atoms there were even for 200, now for 150.. making it even more expensive next season I get only actual rewards, and screw some stupid 150 page, screw some stupid currency and consumable packages, even rewards seem to be rather weaker this time, last time I gave whole pass for cremator being BIG thing there for sure and main thing everyone wanted to check out, this one has only few decent camp items, no ally, meh collectron (nice design still, what it collects seems crappy)
Maybe you don’t notice since you have fallout 1st, but there are the same number of items locked behind fallout 1st as there ever was in the past. It’s still about “who has more money”
I don't have FO1st, I used the option to spend atoms to unlock those items in the season catalogue. Previously those items were hard-locked behind a subscription, which is why I'm calling it a small improvement.
I just wish that between 100-150 you still had the repeatable XP, Yeah OK you want us to play more… let’s not make it a total time grind between 100-150, log in each day do your dailies/weeklys…..don’t give any score credit beyond that, grind for 3-4 weeks and finally get the final page. It’s zoom through the first 100 then crawl your way to the final page…..
Just started playing a a little over a month ago someone made a post asking about the scoreboard and he was a bit farther along than me. Turns out it is impossible for us to reach page 150 within the time frame there is absolutely nothing we can do about it either it just is what it is. For it being my first scoreboard I actually hate it and am just constantly reminded of everything I’m missing out on bc of when I started playing almost wanna just quit before getting to deep into it.
I'm like other players, grinding to 150 for the perk coins for my Alt character. Other than that its just events and exploration to try and enjoy the game more.
SAME MAN. I stopped doing daily’s a long time ago. It’s a good time killer but other than that they are useless to me, I would rather rank up naturally ever since they changed the system.
Agree at your POV. Me as a new player (started oct 2023 now lvl 430) I want to max out perk cards for ledgendairy as I can and its for me the reason to go on. So If I understand correct, Led Core will disappear ?
Yeah, if the new legendary crafting system does make it to the main game then legendary cores will not be used any more. Supposedly they'll be converted to legendary modules but that's still not completely determined.

The point of seasons/battlepass is to instill fomo in the player base. Coming from COD, I’ve been doing seasons since MW2019. Watched the fallout show in May, and decided to jump on the 76 bandwagon and was overwhelmed with all the different currencies the player has to deal with. Quitting COD cold turkey wasn’t too bad, but now I got new kind of dailies to do and grind away 😂 What I miss is being able to pay for the next season (plus 300 more points profit) if you finish a COD season. 76, you gotta pay for 1st to access all the items. I keep telling myself just scrap everything and you can cancel 1st in a few months. But then something nice only for 1st players show up on the store.
Idk i followed the routine Mr.Westtek talked about starting with a new charecter and handing him the needed stuff, and ground out the scoreboard in two days.
Wait, you got told to start a new character to do the 10k XP rank score? That's bad, it's raw XP that matters, not levels, and you get more XP from stronger enemies. Anyway, I hit rank 100 in on day. But that was only to do the video showcasing the items. I won't be doing that again.
The "small positive" you gave the scoreboard was false; they did lock the score boosts and many of the atoms behind FO1st, you just didn't notice because you have it. Bethesda has been working overtime lately to ensure as many people quit the game as possible.
Yeah, I could've explained it better but the point is that in the seasonboard you can unlock those with atoms. In the old scoreboard you could only get them if you had the subscription.
I'm at 46 and won't have a chance to get what I want. Ends Sept 3. The older system was worse. I used to never level up. I only got like 3 or 4 ranks in the old one and it would end. New system definitely isn't grindy. I see level ups a lot. I just started a little late. I like being able to pick what you get too. The old scoreboard forced you to take garbage. Weird analogy calling it like dangling a carrot. It's a simple reward system. Why is that a bad thing? I want the camp survival tent, the SS Forest Armor, the Pioneer scrap box, the Gold Boulton, the Thrasher outfit would have been cool but I won't make it that far. The items don't have to be useful, they can be fun. Only thing we agree on is I notice things cost more and the options to pick from got worse the higher you went. The earlier ranks the prices are great. They get much worse the higher you go.
The stone wall after rank 100 to 150 for consumables seems to be the drop off for many people. Mind you, last season I maxed out my legendarys and got the rolls I needed....but now what? I don't really need to make it to 150 for the items that I now get from better grinds.
I started the game back at the end of April and already have a full set of max rank legendary cards just from this season alone because I didn’t finish last season. It’s been well worth the grind.
When Bethesda did the video introducing the new season system and it was presented by their new "monetization" designer it was pretty clear that seasons was a money grab by Bethesda and not good for long time players. Your video is everything I have been thinking this season.
The only items you can’t get with bullion or through other methods in game are the perk coins, which for us who like to play multiple characters are immensely useful…except that’s the ONLY item that you can only choose once, and can’t buy repeatedly! And you’re right the atoms are WAY too expensive! Making the atoms 250 for 250 would make them worth while, but you’re right, the value is just not there in the 150 level bonus page.
And right now we have "mandatory fun day" with festive scorched being un-rerollable. I. Am. Sick. Of. Hunting. Scorched. And slogging through glitches and boots. I've been "playing" about a year and a half, but I put it down again and again for long stretches of time. Came back recently because my mom wanted to learn to play and thought it felt like the seasons sucked worse than scoreboards and I never managed to finish one of those either. I am POOR and was drawn in by the idea of getting cool stuff by just doing a bit of grinding. A bit turned into a lot and still never got anything too great. Now it's looking like I'm not gonna make it to the stone oven I'd like to have and I'm feeling like putting the game down again for another few months.
I don't like the fact they make you get 10 Holliday scortched before you complete the daily list. Its another way Bethesda is getting players to buy Fallout 1st ! 100-150 suck Bring back the old scoreboard ✌️🙂
I'm currently at rank 94 on the scoreboard and would probably stop playing after reaching 100. I don't care much about rank 150 rewards cuz its simply not worth the hassle. They reset all the progress and remove earned tickets in the next scoreboard anyway.
There's always a few good items, that's the same between the seasons and the scoreboard. For example the pemmican camp item gives you the best food in the game (unless you're vegetarian!). The tent is pretty good but you're right that it's only good for FO1st subscribers.
@@SequentialGamerFallout what other good items are there? half of the nick-nacks to put on your walls are tattered and grungy, there's armor paints that no one uses, picture frames and icons that no one cares for. the only reason why anyone would buy half of the items this season is simply for the sake of having it.
I rarely grab everything in the score. I don’t take the power armor skins, I don’t wear power armor. I like the last page because I use the items on the last page for my other chapters. I only take what I want or need and same my tickets. Until the end. At the last page I had over 2200 tickets
I just wanted the Head Hunder Scythe, it looks awsome with my skull gas mask i got from the shop, still looking and hoping for anything that macthes with it aside from the pastor clothes, to get a whole grim reaper look.
I agree to much grind, prizes not worth it. Perk coins only thing I would want . But I don't bother with it. Easier to sell unwanted cards. I liked the board game better.
Soon as they brought the guy in who use to work for EA I was done. I'll get what I get from just playing normally but have stopped giving a shit at this point.
You want to increase player engagement? At rank 200 you get 300 additional pounds of stash space bumping you up to 1500 stash weight limit for the remainder of the season. Done. You're welcome, Bethesda.
The old scoreboards you got more rewards like caps perk coins or lunchboxes , and i noticed more stuff was locked behind fallout 1st this season...i ended up purchasing the season pass . I probably will not do that again ,my wife didnt and still managed to get to 100 relatively quick just doing dailys
I'm in the minority, but i really like the new scoreboard system. I don't care about most of the rewards in any scoreboard, so i just get the few i do care about, buy the cheapest things i don't care about to unlock the rank 150 page and then save the rest of my tickets for those items. The rank 100 page is pretty irrelevant to me. Last season, I'm pretty sure the only thing i unlocked were the cremator fire colors. Last season, from the rank 150 page, i got about 350 modules and 20 scout banners. I'll probably do the same thing this season, though my rank won't quite be as high as i grinded really hard to unlock the cremator and all its mods. I really like scout banners, i wish we could buy them with gold. If they want to increase player engagement and keep people playing longer, they need to remove daily limits on scrip. They want people to play longer, but then put in a system that makes it difficult to do so. It's counterintuitive
@@atleastimtrying5391 I'm only at like rank 109, even though I always do my daily tasks, and checking the rank 150 page, it still says I need like 20 items to buy anything there, if I ever reach 150...
Correct, yes, that was deliberately baked into the new system. It's why I recommend people use atoms to unlock FO1st items in the season board, you get more items and you get the score boosters. You get back +500 atoms anyway so you don't lose anything.
I'm with you on it just not being worth it anymore. I was playing on 3 platforms, because there were folks and family I wanted to play with on each platform. A little nuts I suppose and now with ever increasing ridiculous R&G, I already cancelled FO First on one of the platforms. I really don't expect I'll put the effort in going forward, unless Bethesda rethinks the current strategy.
I’m level 150+ and the only reason I continue to do dailies / weeklies is due to the upcoming legendary crafting change. At the end of this season I will convert all my tickets to legendary modules.
The old system was much better. Once you got to level 100, you were done, and you got everything. Now, in order to get everything, you have to rank up past 150! I also miss the game boards. The wall decoration is OK, but it's just not the same... P.S. Each time you purchase the atoms, the price goes up 100 tickets. When I claimed it, it went up, from 250, to 350 tickets...
@@SequentialGamerFallout I use my server room, as a museum, to display game boards and steins, LOL! These new banner things, are shaped odd, and lit up all wrong. I wish they'd go back to the old game board style.
Currently at rank 125, most rank levels I only buy a few things. I bought nothing on Rank 100 as it was too expensive and garbage items. Hoping I can get to 150 and spend the 1200+ tickets I still have. Last season I did not make the rank level I wanted and ended up buying worthless items to me just to spend the tickets. Definitely not as exciting this season.
Exactly. Making things more difficult to get is not a winning strategy, it demoralizes players and that's not what you want. You want them excited to play instead.
@@SequentialGamerFallout what really concerns me the most here is that this is a classic Blizzard approach. I'll happily pay a sub if I like the game, but having to invest too much time to achieve simple goals isn't fun.
Yeah, I don't bother going past 100, because it's pointless and not worth it to me. But that's me. I still prefer the old score board. And honestly, I didn't think the prizes are truly not that great.
Hmmm I think higher lvls don't care as much cuz you guys have more resources so it's like I have been busting my ass off to be 150 so I can get some perk coins, but after I get all what I need I probably won't care as much either. Now let's not forget this season scoreboard was specially bad imo so that's even less incentive to farm, about the atoms, I think the infinite atoms its just a bait but reasonable you can only get around 300 400 at best if you skip buying other stuff.
i used to grind the scoreboard, then build crazy camps when i got to 100. cool being able to skip over lame stuff. my menus are getting long. i liked the old way better tho.
I got to rank 100. If i get to 150 then nice one, if not then im not too fussed. My dalies take me like 10 minutes and i generally do my weeklies the day they come out. At most it might take me like an hour if ive got to cripple a load of limbs or something. I just view it as xp farming. Ive still not got a evel 300 character 🤣
BRING BACK SCOREBOARD THIS NEW SYSTEM IS SO DUMB why do it get 25 tickets a rank when I should just get an item for my rank up it’s just a way for them to give us even fewer rewards for us to grind more it’s about player retention and getting them to come back to the game. If you make your game ranking up based on daily challenges over play time then you have a higher count of repeat players due to them needing to play each day to finish the season that they paid for so they get their moneys worth but in a much longer time than if you’d rank up and get a reward.
I miss the themed "scoreboard" style maps. Nothing about the new system is attractive or exciting. I got to 95 to get the tent and logged off until the next new content patch.
All that stuff at the rank 150 page is what used to pad out the old SCOREboard system. I've been around since the first season and I've seen these things go downhill until this Food Stamp Catalog that we've got now and I hate it. The old ones were fun and we got a cool item to hang up in our camps, these new ones are so grindy and unfulfilling to run. I wish Bethesda would remove all of the FO1st items and return the boards to what they were when they introduced them. They were an egalitarian thing where you earned things off that board from your activities, it didn't matter if you had FO1st or not. I hate the thought of having to spend a currency on these items that were formerly just unlocked by my efforts. I'd be happy if Bethesda would just run the Scoreboard to rank 100 and then end it. You get a nice little fanfare like the Trail Fireworks and a 'finish line' animation and you get your rewards and you're done. Instead of a bullshit grind to rank 150 where there's no real value to be had.
Noob here, came with the latest Fallout craze. First Fallout game I have ever played. Never saw the last scoreboard. This is my first full season, came in to late last season. Heard about unlimited repicks for items on the last page. Awe struck, this season started, I raced to west tek armed with my new knowledge on how to farm it with nuka nades. The moment I had 1500 atoms i dropped them on season pass. Need all the help I can get. I broke 100 quickly, so excited. Took a closer look at the last page to imagine the future. Started to do the math done in this video. Devastated, honestly. Now I am 130 grinding dailies, rerolling for best points. My only driving force now is to make sure dropping 1500 wasn't for nothing. And I do it with zero excitement for the last page. Even that feels like a stretch at this point.
I'm not a big fan of (most of) the rewards on the scoreboard. I have very little incentive to rank up. This season has some very uninteresting items that I could care less to obtain.
My objective for this season was:

-dont bother anymore

also, i am really sick and tired of being required to kill 10 event scorched as a daily. you can't even reroll that. the horrible part is being on a public server means there will definitely be someone actively hunting them down. creates a situation where fo1st players have an unfair advantage since they have the ability to hop on a private server and kill 10 event scorched without competition.
Agreed
@@atleastimtrying5391 Aldo 1First I dont have a PTS and even I have had PTS Im tired of chasing them all over the map. So I do all the dailes and leave 10 scorched. Except when I can rank up.
I agree. I would get to 4 or 5 and have to get off. I can't even complete the dailies. Like, wtf?
I stopped caring once I got the tent now I just enjoy the game
Yeah, a trading or escrow system is badly needed in FO76. The lack of that means that you have to rely on a third player to acts as the go between.
I go for 150 hard so I can get the perk coins and max out my legendary cards. Without this new format getting perk coins was virtually impossible.
I got a little over 100. I am now burned out and currently on a No mans sky binge
Did the same and went to fallout London ❤
Preying on completionists. Fortunately for me, I only care for stuff that I like the way they look. Unfortunately for Bethesda, most of the shit this season looks like shit. Also I hate camping builds.
i dont participate much in it either. Like.. yay a canoe. whatever. Selling us assets they bought once for 50cents.
LITERALLY 😂😂
It really is pathetic for these studios to be doing this scummy behavior. It's like lazy and greedy go hand in hand these days😢
At least let us use the canoe 😂
Seasons are dead, generic, uninspired, and not worth the grind. I feel for anyone who didn't get to experience scoreboards. I miss them
Atoms are the only thing there for me. Because modules are a bust. You buy loads and still won't get the roll you after and the rest are worthless to me
@@fabrictoucher152 spot on
Your thoughts are SPOT ON. A friend and i was talking about the same topic yesterday with same conclusions as you. Btw. we also bought a TON of S. Boosters from prev. Scoreboard 😁😁
Great minds think alike LOL
After acquiring the tent I did not visit the scoreboard
Hate this new scoreboard.
After this season I am done with fallout 76 just not worth the grind.
The second a video game company decides to get greedy is when their game stsrts to plummit due to terribly designed ideas. Don't fix something that's not already broken beth.
I’m pretty sure Bethesda started this trend with the horse armor dlc in oblivion, not much has changed for the better
@@TheTimeWeCall420 lol this is true. Sometimes I forget Bethesda made elder scrolls 😂 Still great games non the less.
The new system is trash but what also doesn’t help is that it was filled to the brim with the most boring mundane crap ever.
That EA monetisation director they hired is turning the game into a shitfest. He's proud of the new season format too.
It's only going to get worse with the game becoming grindier and WANTS players to spend money on Fallout 1st.
Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. That will destroy the game. I'm not guessing, just look at what Fifa became.
There isn’t even a Poster at the end
@@SequentialGamerFallout it makes it somewhat mathematically impossible
@@SequentialGamerFallout if you’re not level 100 at a certain point in the season, it will be impossible without spending money to get to 150
@@SequentialGamerFallout we’ve probably already passed that point I would not be shocked in the slightest if level 100 right now cannot get the level 150 with the remaining time
trying to get to 150 to buy some atoms, can confirm, not worth it, I had like about level 120 when buying actual rewards (also needed to unlock 150 page anyway so no, no saving tickets if I dont want to leaveč out nactual items I amy never get access to again, I left out some currency pack or something garbage as that), so leaving like roughly 30 levels I can spend on atoms if I unlock that page even (which can have all effort be useless if I will be on 149 level when season ends for some reason, what I know I havent seen exact end date only guesses of community), with this generous guess I MAY have 300 atoms for getting on daily for at least hour to do dailies (especially with christmass scorched un-re-rollable one, it sucks as hell at unlucky days, those are also bugged so not all kills count even), every day, and I did even used booster twice, once even on weeklies reset to do 2 full sets of weekly challenges, and before I got to level 100, I was doing also XP grinds but I have no stupid "OP bloodied XP build that is necessity for anything" so it was basically slow waste of time, not having 100 levels in two hours as all those grind youtubers just have, I think originally atoms there were even for 200, now for 150.. making it even more expensive
next season I get only actual rewards, and screw some stupid 150 page, screw some stupid currency and consumable packages, even rewards seem to be rather weaker this time, last time I gave whole pass for cremator being BIG thing there for sure and main thing everyone wanted to check out, this one has only few decent camp items, no ally, meh collectron (nice design still, what it collects seems crappy)
The new "seasons" are more grindy, less rewards, and rewards lackluster.
Mainly did the grind for the tent and some camp stuff then stopped caring. lol.
@@SequentialGamerFallout ok I see what you mean
I did hear something that they may add a new challenge for those levels between 100-150 nothing set in stone yet. We’ll see next season.
@@n0pfy1 super agreed 👍
I literally thought they broke the xp thing after fixing the map no wonder i wasn't seeing xp reset
It keeps telling me "cannot continue using the application. The data for the following application is corrupted. Delete the application from PS4, and then download it again from library on the home screen
Scoreboard is STILL locked behind Fallout 1st (or season pass whatever that is)
I find that over half of the items.. I couldn't care less about, so I don't feel like grinding endlessly for the few items I actually want.
The point of seasons/battlepass is to instill fomo in the player base. Coming from COD, I’ve been doing seasons since MW2019. Watched the fallout show in May, and decided to jump on the 76 bandwagon and was overwhelmed with all the different currencies the player has to deal with. Quitting COD cold turkey wasn’t too bad, but now I got new kind of dailies to do and grind away 😂
What I miss is being able to pay for the next season (plus 300 more points profit) if you finish a COD season.
This shouldn't come as a surprise. Everything EA touches, dies. That's really unfortunate.
EA? Microsoft owns Bethesda....
@@handyandqu .....did you watch this video? They brought in a product dev from EA and shortly after we have a grind-fest. Which is an EA specialty.
100-150 suck
Bring back the old scoreboard ✌️🙂
You have SO MANY score boosters 😂😂😂 i love it hahahaha
I was planning to spam them on the weekly challenges and replenish them each season, but the devs caught onto my plan LOL.
While I mostly play to do challenges and have since Beta. I come in, spend 30-60 minutes doing challenges, and leave.
I care about maxing out my legendary perks and this is unfortunately the quickest way.
OR, how about the fact they steal any remaining tickets from you when a new season begins?
I bought a bunch of Perk Coins last season. This season, I'm going to load up on Legendary Modules. The Atoms are very much not worth it.
I miss the old scoreboards :( they where way more better.
I'm currently at rank 94 on the scoreboard and would probably stop playing after reaching 100. I don't care much about rank 150 rewards cuz its simply not worth the hassle. They reset all the progress and remove earned tickets in the next scoreboard anyway.
the one and only thing worth it in this season was the tent that you can only use with fallout first....
For me, I am a lone player. I did ONE. It took me hours. Dailies are just too much for me to pursue.
Great Video. I am going for the perk points. Will load up on them at 150 and then stop.
Well said regarding everything
The old scoreboards you got more rewards like caps perk coins or lunchboxes , and i noticed more stuff was locked behind fallout 1st this season...i ended up purchasing the season pass .
I probably will not do that again ,my wife didnt and still managed to get to 100 relatively quick just doing dailys
Bethesda knew this that’s why they put the tent closer to the end cause they know most of the items are meh…….
It's also frustrating that, if you don't have fo1st, you basically have to unlock everything anyway, to get the rank 150 stuff...
@@biostemm by the time you’re 150 you’ll have barely anything.

I miss the old boards too. It was nice to hang them in your camp.

You hit the vibe right on the head @15:00
I don't mind the new layout, but I don't like that it takes twice as long to finish. Don't force me to stay, give me a reason to keep coming back.
Yeah,
I don't bother going past 100, because it's pointless and not worth it to me.
Only thing I really cared about this season was the vintage survival tent, so I’m content 🤷🏽♂️
We are just slaves to there game
This season is ASS.
