I love the fact that Herald plays like first item Shadow Blade or random mines on the river work just perfectly against other Herald players. It's like they're playing a completely different game.

At the end when Jenkins says "We didn't choose this, PL didn't choose to be in techies game" resonated with me as I remember every techies game I had to play in and was force to sit down for an extra 20 minutes in those games.
Played a game at 11:30 thinking I could go to bed at 12 30 max... the game lasted til 1...
Man my friend want to play a quick last dota game at a midle of night, againts techis and end up played for 6 hours and in the end for their team to gave up the game
every person who wanted to play a quick match but got techies in enemy team can relate to this.

I love how Huskar doesn't lvl up spears because he knows he's not going to use them anyway. And that full attack speed Viper, so good.
It's old huskar, you skip burning spear. Passive give you huge damage and you build lifesteal, you are unkillable. I feel like those herald are dota players that has not been play dota for like 7-8 years. Unaware with meta changes and all shit.

@@nebunezz_r I mean, a friend of mine is doing a SF build where he skips raze completely in lane (doing safelane SF shit) and it works a lot better than it should - and that is in a lot higher MMR than herald.
These videos make me feel like if I reinstalled dota after four years, I could still have some fun even though I'd be painfully rusty
u get back into dota pretty fast.. i stopped for half a year recently , and it was just 1 game and i was kind of fully back in there.. doesnt take long to get ur old skill level back.
takes a while to figure out how exactly the meta works though

I just played a great one with a mid bb -- 40 mmr -- he went no items into heart of tarrasque. He never bought boots. Said his ulti gave him enough speed.
As a longtime League player, I kinda want to try Dota 2 now. The added complexity seems fun.

@@yimkumerjamz1225 I picked viper to counter huskar, and PL. I picked my talent for W cooldown reduction and made my items ( SHARD and AC) all for drow to dish out damage. As a herald, I was proud of my understanding of that one specific game. Still shit at the game tho. 😂😂

@@Justnothankyou132 It''s not too surprising with all the content out there. All it takes is just a little effort to know all the things you should do, really. Now, doing them well, on the other hand, is a different story.
@@guyfawkes0511 Sad, I'm ancient and I still encounter some supports who don't ward most of the time (literally 3 obs in shop at the 7 min mark), don't stack camps, and don't really zone/harass in lane.
@@felixyuen8225 Oh yeah, that's more prevalent in Herald of course. Stacking is something a few supports do, but it's there. Warding and dewarding though is common. But all of that goes to shit because more often than not you get at least a 4-carry team.

That was 100% just a commonly done failed pull when you space out and miss the timing at 2:45
Just for fun I looked at huskar's damage for this game, he did about 65.5k (lowest of all cores in the game) 4k of which was burning spears

Jenkins, I have been playing this game since DOTA 1 days (my username is my AOL screenname from way back, and I'm past the point of changing it haha). But Thank you for being a positive voice and having fun with the game. Your last video last portion mentioned "its a game, have fun"!! Agree too many people have the thinking of MMR being end all be all, but then it leads to people stressing and just being unhappy. I played ALOT of ranked from 2014-2017 but I will say it was not as much fun as me playing unranked/turbo now. Also love your commentary dude, keep it up! Wish you the best of luck

I think the reason Jenkin’s gets so surprised by some of the plays is because he’s so much higher he’s not used to it. Yeah things in herald/guardian don’t happen as much as in higher ranks but they act so surprised when people do things (like pull lane) at all.
Lately watching these herald medals jerking arround is so satisfying
