- I needed a haircut in the Philippines and I may have found the wildest barber in all of Manila! But first a quick stop at the c*ckpit?
During our last week in the Philippines, we were staying in most posh neighbourhood in all of Manila, Makati. We ventured to the neighbouring neighbourhood of Pasay to get a cheap haircut and dye on my attempts to transform myself into Seal Shady.
On the way we got beckoned into a the local c*ckpit to watch a c*ckfight. I won't get into details of what occurred but I'm sure you could guess. We ventured deeper into the community and were unsuccessful to find a salon that could convert me into seal shady. Until we me Madonna...

dude the color and the haircut suited you. btw people in the lgbt usually dont make a big deal about being misgendered in the philippines they will just politely tell you or not tell you at all. unlike in the western countries youre good mate dont worry about it.

@FatherNature143 idk friend, I think you'd be surprised at how understanding people can be even in the most stereotypically liberal of cities. People who don't "pass" are probably more aware of it than you are, so of course some folks are going to be more sensitive than others, that's natural. But I think we can agree using whatever pronouns folks are comfy with is the most respectful/right thing to do anyways :) accidents happen, and it's ok to make mistakes. Just correct yourself and move on, it's not that big of a deal. I'm trans and use they/them pronouns, but I also understand that's new for a lot of folks esp if they're older or from another culture. I only find it offensive if someone is misgendering me on purpose to be rude. In my experience most trans folks don't have enough energy to get upset every time they're misgendered haha we're just trying to not get, you know, hate crimed lol
