X or Chi is the Greek letter that stands for Christ... that is why some Christians abbreviate it Xmas. He is the Chi-Rho coming from the Greek word Christos meaning Christ which is the nearest translation the Greeks had for Yeshua HaMashiach (Salvation the Anointed One, Yeshua is Hebrew for Salvation, as it fulfills the prophecy from the angel Gabriel to Mary aka Miriam that she should "call His name Yeshua because he will save His people from their sins." ) to express the Hebrew word Mashiach which means "anointed one". Most of us protestant raised folks don't know this because we don't understand Aramaic or Hebrew and the significance of the names. Jesus is a transliteration of Yeshua from Hebrew to Greek and Latin and eventually into English, which is not common practice. In any language someone's name is simply their name, always pronounced the same but through the passed 2000+ years His name has gone from Yeshua (Salvation) to the Greek Iesous to the Latin Iesus and so on until adopted in the British Isles as Jesus which likewise was carried with us Anglo-Saxons into North America. So to get back on track, Chi-Rho hearkens back to a time when even believing in Yeshua was punishable by death, the X and P (Chi Rho) was used as a "secret" symbol by Christians on door posts, buildings etc. as meeting places, home bible studies/congregations/churches in a time when Christians were heavily persecuted. So, many today still use X P (Chi Rho) as a reminder. It is an example of symbology and language used by Christians to recognize each other, like being a part of the club. So in short, Yeshua is King, ben Elohim (Son of God) and Immanuel (God with us) and an X doesn't take the meaning away from Christmas, it actually personifies it as the use of X is comprised of the sacrifice, persecution and resurrection. God bless y'all, I love your music and your songs never get old. I hope y'all'll make a trip to Georgia sometime for a concert.
And I love you guys - just get sick of god coming into everything. I get people believing 1,000 years ago when there weren't any better explanations for the life and the world around us. But in 2017? Not sure religion helps us much. Still, I love the music and the incredible talent you guys have. Amazing.
Too much secular music out there and we don't need any more, it is so refreshing to hear some singers that love the Lord and glorify him with their music. Never stop!

Two talented, attractive ladies. I think the world could be a lot better without religious dogma though.
Such a talented family - but the Jesus nonsense breaks the spell for me. What a shame to ruin such great music with such silly lyrics.
We love you anyway, Scrumpy :)

"Too much secular music out there...we don't need any more". Really? Did you actually think that statement through before you posted? Lol.
