Video explains the process step by step, watch the full video to create a reminder flow
Great stuff! Great explanation!!
Very useful - thanks.
Great tutorial!
Thanks for sharing this helpful video!
I have a question though regarding the presented workflow. Is it possible to have approval workflow with an official letter generator? Because there are input data need to be approved. Then by the end, I want the letter to be emailed to certain recipients. Do you think I can do that with sharepoint?
Thanks in advance for your response
Even if Approver approve immediate still it does not move to next action. It wait in reminder till the wait is complete ?
Thank you so much for this video. However, I need help on how to pend my approval till a certain date that's on the Sharepoint item list. I do not want to use manual date setup, I want it to work with whatever will be updated on the list. Thank you
Hi, You have this that instead of sending it in email, it will send it in Teams?
I need your help to create an automated flow of follow-up emails if no response is received, every 24 hours a followup mail will send define by subject line
I could not find Approvers Email has it change?
Dear Sir, how i should apply this in MS Forms instead of approval, e.g. i use Ms. Forms that we request feedback from different offices, and we suppose to trigger reminder if they didn't submit the form, if they submit then how to get rid of reminders, can you send me pls the flow to create it in Power Automate...appreciate your response on this
I have tried this process but it does not work, as I don't get the "apply to each" to work. Complains that it is not an array.
How to add the link to the approval?
in case of multiple approvers how can we target specific person holding up process?
2:38 Approvers email this option is not showing ,how to get this
unfortunately this doesnt help. I have the approvals in a do until loop because it will loop between each other back and forth until its approved. So i cant do the reminders your way
Hi, i had a question. If I want to send the approval request to multiple approvers if any one pending that approval in that case I want to send the reminder email only to pending approver not to everyone.
Then how can I resolve it. Please help me
Hi i need to create power automate to send reminder mail to owner of case which are not modified in last 48 hrs how can i do any link ?
Hi am creating a flow, I have couple of questions can you please help me.Thanks
Great video! Thanks a lot. My case is not about approval but 14 day reminder based on some date column until the status column set to "Closed". What should be my trigger?
Hi Ramesh, in your case also trigger would be "when item is created" and then would need use the compose action to do calculation of 14 days from the due date date. Further you would be using "delay" action to pause your flow for 14 days to send reminder.
Hope it helps!
@@m365techhelp I used Do Until loop and its working. But I see the limit as 30 days or 60 reminders max. In that case I could send max of 2 reminders. Is that how it is?
That's correct, there are limitations on time outs. A flow can be in execution only for 30 days. So, you can only send two reminders. If your requirement is of sending more reminder then create a child flow call it once 30 days over in parent flow.
How to handle when request is rejected
Good video. Thanks. I have a use case to send custom approval email based on the excel table and track the responses. My table contains list of users and their department owners who should review and approve their access every month. I created one but either it runs in loop or not sending approval for row-2 until the first one is actioned by approver. Could you please help?
Hi Krishna, if you are using "apply to each" for loop then you would need to change the setting of 'apply to each'--> concurrency control --enable it to run in parallel so that it can send approvals to all at once without waiting for previous ones.
@@m365techhelp You are just awesome, it really worked which I am struggling to get help since few weeks. Thank you very much 😊
@@krishnabairi1581 Glad to hear that , thanks !!
Very helpful, please also help us if we can setup reminder emails for multi-level approval process
Please let me know if you have found the solution for multiple approvals

Nice video. thank you. But, what if approver deleted the email where the approval link exists?
Then Approver can go to flow - > Action Items --> Specific Task -->Approve/Reject
Very useful tutorial.,In my case, what if you have more than one approver, for example, you have three approvers, two persons already approved, only one of them who have not approved yet, how do you make a reminder sent to only one approver? thanks
Thanks for comment ! Yes, you need to include "Apply to each" loop & add a start approval task & update one variable for isTaskCompleted , Set the configuration of apply to each as concurrent.
In a parallel branch , use a do while loop and check if isTaskCompleted is set to true and exit do while. I am planning to make a video explaining the entire logic, will link here soon.
@@m365techhelp I can't wait for the video to be released, thank you very much.
For an alternative:

@@m365techhelp Any luck on posting this video?
@@westonenglish5574 Sorry for the delay , Here is the video I just created ruclips.net/video/iJye4XWyngE/видео.html
I’m still getting reminder email after approval action is taken. My stopReminder is set to true on approval side.
Same. Any updates or actions on this issue?
Is this a bug in Power Automate?
This may not be a bug. This video needs to be updated. The flow should have a condition to go into the reminder section as long as the value remains true and another condition to send email only when it returns false.
I just figured out the solution, just right before the do until, create another condition to check stopReminder is equal to false, and drag the do until function in If yes column, and do nothing in If No. I hope this will help out anyone in future
@@CaseyKc007this works! Thank you so much
Hi need help
If the approval action reachs Actiontimeout it will fail and the flow will keep sending the emails, how to do error handling on delay action if the approval action reachs actiontimeout?
Try to keep timeout duration max to 28 days (PT720H)
