with 7.14.3 cap with the vlan not working for me. I can connect to the main capsman device (what is a cap itself too) but I don't get IP if I connect on the cap. (I have a lot of working environment with older version)
Excellent video, thank you very much. My question is about how to control the channels in the CAP to avoid co-channel interference? How to establish the connection standard? for example that the CAP in 2.4GHz works in Only N or in 5GHz so that it works in N/AC. Greetings.
Done this on Mikrotik Hap Ac Lite Every step was followed, then when it came to searching for my Mikrotik Map Lite which I've put into CAP mode, it didn't list down. So not sure what's happening here
So after searching, I found a video on Mikrotik Official RUclips. Very simple basic explanation but the step that seems to find my CAP devices was to enable a feature So on the left hand side , by the Wireless Tab.... You'll be in the Wireless Tables. Then there's another option called Cap. It's one of the Subcategories. Enable that Interfaces: Wlan1 (Can add Wlan2 as well) CapsMan Address: 127.0.0.1 Then click OK You'll see your Capsman devices (CAPs Device) And I noticed I needed to Reboot holding the Reset button in order for it to get into Capsman mode for my device, doing it via winbox somehow glitched

@@fcosmin327 With the upgrades (I dont know when) it is started working! Do you have the latest and same ROS on your devices?
I have a cap ax and I can't configure vlans. I don't have "VLAN mode" in datapath...
Hi, thanks a lot. I'm try to implement this scenario on RouterOS 7

How to roaming configaration three caps accesspoint
hello, you didnt show how to configure the cap AP himself but only the capsman router
Just put the cap AP in caps mode by pressing down the reset button, plug them in and the rest, they say is history.
