- This lovely Porsche 911 996 with x51 package has an upgraded Dansk Sport exhaust. It's a 1999 manual 3.4 Carrera. And I think it sounds pretty awesome.
The cool leather driving gloves used are from Roadr and are inspired by classic Porsches.

I used to have a 996 C2 with PSE. eventhough I have upgraded to the 996.2 gt3 now, I still really miss the iconic growl of the M96 engine

I have a 996 C4 X51 with PSE. I love the sound. Mine is a Cab and with top down sounds glorious
God dam 996 are so underrated, lucky for me though else I won’t be able to own several! When I’m not driving mine, I’m watching videos of people driving theirs 😀

Well, they fit perfectly! The quality is amazing. And yes they are helping, because they make feel the drive more special, i have more grip and after driving for a while, my hands feel super soft. So i can recommend them. They are from roadr.nl.

I was experimenting with my gopro and mic. Mic was too close to exhaust. I lost the footage I got from the front camera so the video only shows rear. This was on my 03 C4 Cab X51 with factory PSE. ruclips.net/video/6D5M99B_Il4/видео.html

Dansk sport, normal 'basic' variant. Audio is recorded from outside. Sounds different and less loud inside the car.

This is the purest 911 experience, only 2900 pounds, manual transmission, and naturally aspirated.
How did you record the audio and Mount the camera ? Was it a GoPro for video and separate recording for exhaust ?
Yes, so i captured this with a Gopro. And recorded the sound with a Zoom F2 mounted on the license plate.
Great video! I own a 3.4 manual with Dansk sports exhaust and love it to bits - but it does not sound as good as this... Is the exhaust valved? Did you place the mic on the outside? Really curious.

Congrats! Yes, only mufflers. These are the sport variant. There is also a super sport, which is in my opinion way to loud. Ive got the X51 engine upgrade and it comes with an different manifold. Not sure what this does to the sound in comparison with stock.

@@NoHassle911 YES, genius. yes , that's precisely why we make these videos. To see the drive and the road. Not the dash an steering wheel. Cayman is not a boring car to drive . At least I position my camera so it's not filming my dash .

@@corychecketts driving gloves are needed for race cars in extremely hot weather on long track days when cars don’t have AC.
The weather is not hot, the car has AC and he is going for a little drive on a back road.
Please, it’s part of the experience in driving a hot car, it’s called personal choice
