  • The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) successfully conducted the first-ever Philippine Leadership Training Programme on Industrial Parks in Mindanao.
    With over 70 government officials from 34 local government units, MinDA, the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) in attendance, the program provided participants with crucial skills and strategies essential for the development, operation, and management of industrial parks. This initiative aimed to foster a conducive environment for accelerated industrial growth and economic development across the Philippines. As part of the activity, participants visited one of the successful Industrial Parks in Panabo City.
    The training also underscored MinDA and UNIDO's unwavering commitment to bolstering economic and industrial development in the Philippines by championing industrial parks as catalysts for growth and transformation. UNIDO seeks to pave the way for a thriving and resilient economy in the region and beyond.
