I tried to keep an eye on Mozzy during the game. I saw one play where Mozzy blew it up in the middle; gain, 1 and 1/2 yards. On the next play, I saw him get washed out and the run went behind him for 8 yards. I see where the coaches are frustrated with him. Because he absolutely shows that he is capable of being serviceable in that one technique. And then, something happens, and he forgets his technique we got, what, three more weeks of preseason? I hope we can get him coached up!
I was impressed by Overshown, Bell, Juanyeh, Kneeland, Cooper Rush, Brooks, Billy-Johnson, Dowdle, the OL looked good, the LB’s looked like they flew to the ball and could cover.

We've seen 10yr vets come out throwing high, missing etc. Zero turnovers by our offense and 4 int. from our defense. I think we all know what preseason is for and I'm going to say we have a lot of good competition in areas we haven't in yrs. Mr. McClay and staff are doing a tremendous job building us a TEAM to consistently win and get us in the playoffs.
Hardmon had arguably the best game of all the WRs. He looked very strong. Lance still leaves a lot to be desired. Many of his passes were high and he's going to hang these WRs out and exposed to big hits.
I mean that’s no different from Dak. He also constantly throws high. He’s got CeeDee, Amari and Gallup all killed over the years. You could have a whole highlight reel with CeeDee alone…

Quinn always seemed lack luster and borderline predictable at times to me and that hes obviously a good coach but has been blessed by certain groups of players during his good years as a DC.

Blatant holding call was missed on the final drive and the personal foul called on dallas was a joke, that kept the drive alive, Trey Lance is not a nfl caliber quarterback, stick with Rush
Preseason games are just glorified scrimmages. If anyone is worried about the state of their team (Cowboys or otherwise), based on Preseason games, then you are worried about the wrong thing... lol. These games are mostly just to just decide the last spots on the roster, who shines and who doesn't. This loss means absolutely nothing for Dallas.
I say Brooks will be the 5th receiver, the competition will be for the 6th receiver slot. I dont think the rookie will make the 53 man squad unless he dominates the next two preseason games. To much competition thats playing better than him. 84 looked pretty good.
